Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle and through life with us.

Kelly Lasater

Maid of Honor

Kelly has been my longest and dearest friend for over twenty years. I met Kelly when her family moved in up the street from my parents and our friendship has not wavered since. Kelly is gentle, kind, curious, and brave, always seeking the next adventure and caring for those around her along the way.

Melissa Jackson

Bridesmaid

Melissa is my middle sister and I am delighted to have her by my side for this special day. Melissa is sweet, kind, caring, and can make me laugh harder than most people. I admire Melissa for her resiliency and perseverance and know that she will always be on my side and I on hers. It is an honor to call Melissa my sister and now my bridesmaid as well.

Maggie Jackson

Bridesmaid

Maggie is my oldest sister, who I am grateful to have stand next to me on this day. Maggie is one of the most gentle people I have ever met. She is as sweet as a peach, enjoys the simple things in life, and has garnered an appreciation in me to take life at a slower pace. She is unwavering in her loyalty and affection for our family, something I have always appreciated about her. It is my delight to have her as one of my bridesmaids.

Katie Swalm

Bridesmaid

Katie and I had the privilege of not only attending Valor together, but also attending Westmont together too. We have seen each other grow up from adolescents into adulthood, and her family has adopted me into theirs along the way. Katie is the care free-spirit and creative I have always aspired to be. She is fearless, adventurous, and courageous, showing me that there is more than one way to view the world we live in. Katie is sheer delight to me, a true friend and sister. I am honored to call her my best friend and now bridesmaid.

Ellie Haldors

Bridesmaid

Ellie Haldors is one of my dear friends from my time at Westmont. We became friends while studying abroad in Europe and enjoyed the rest of our time in college alongside each other. Our friendship has remained steady as we have continued on through college, especially during my short time lived in Seattle where her family took me under their wing and into their care. Ellie is caring, honest, and absolutely hilarious. Each time I come back to Santa Barbara to see her, it is as if no time has passed at all. It is my honor to have her as a best friend and bridesmaid.

Chyna Wells

Bridesmaid

Chyna is Jake's younger sister. She and I share an appreciation of good food, laughing at Jake and his dad jokes, and memories of working at Campus by the Sea on Catalina. She is kind, welcoming, and gentle and I am excited to have her as a sister-in-law and bridesmaid.

Jordan Baldridge

Best Man

Jordan and I grew up in West LA going to church together. His family is a second family to me and Jordan is the closest thing I have to a brother.

Benjamin Peterson

Groomsman

In our Freshman dorm, third wheel to Jordan and I, was Benny. His infectious personality quickly forced a spot into our hearts. Ben likes stamps, pens, Historical British Figures such as Winston Churchill, and Armenia. Ben is usually busy running around San Luis Obispo, but when he takes you to get coffee you'll get his undivided attention. Ask him about raising a lamb.

Jack Mendenhall

Groomsman

By coincidence, the first time saw Jack was at summer camp, he had a faux-hawk and was playing guitar in the talent show. Jordan and I took one look at him and thought he was lame. We would meet again in college and become friends, proving you cant judge a guitar player by his faux-hawk. Jack is a welcoming, thoughtful friend who brings joy wherever he goes. Ask him about the LA Marathon.

Erik Hansen

Groomsman

Erik is one of the most genuine guys I know. Throughout college I was able to see his enthusiasm in most everything he does. Erik always has something interesting to say whether it be about the Anaheim Angels or robots. Ask him about Amazon Alexa.

Nolan Brudi

Groomsman

Growing up in Kelso, Washington Nolan is the only non-Californian of this group. I've always appreciated his dry sense of humor. Ask him about how he got his nickname.

Daniel Kohl

Groomsman

Daniel and I met in college but didn't become friends until he moved into my apartment after graduation. He grew up in Jordan as a missionary kid, but now lives in Santa Barbara. Although English isn't his first language he never fails to entertain. Ask him about skiing in Vail last year.
