FAQs

Question

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is the closest airport to the city, located just a 15-minute drive away from the downtown area. We recommend using a rideshare, such as Uber, for a convenient and hassle-free transfer to your hotel. Once you're in Santa Barbara, most destinations are within walking distance or a short ride away. While ticket prices may be slightly higher than flying into LAX, the convenience of flying into SBA is certainly worth it. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is another viable option, situated about a 1.5-hour drive from Santa Barbara (without traffic). Other airport options include John Wayne Airport (SNA), and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), but LAX is generally the most cost-effective for those flying in from the East Coast. If you choose this route, we suggest renting a car for the drive to make the most of your journey. Guests who fly into LAX also have the option of using the Santa Barbara Airbus. Buses can book out quickly, so we recommend booking a seat ASAP if you prefer this option. Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that guests arrive in cocktail attire. Embracing the spirit of a Santa Barbara summer, please choose an outfit that makes you feel confident and ready to enjoy the evening! Santa Barbara is a comfortably mild temperature, but once the sun sets, the air can get a bit cool. We recommend bringing a shawl, jacket, or cardigan to stay warm as the evening unfolds.
