Sarah and I became quick best friends ever since we met in Mr. Chamber's class freshman year of high school. There aren't enough words to describe how good of a friend she is. She and I have been through relationship struggles together, endless soccer and basketball practices, car troubles, and I even forgave her for attending UofM when I had already decided on MSU. I know that this girl will always have my back and there is no one else who understands me the way that she does. I am so lucky to call her my Maid of Honor.
Ben Slade
Best Man
Ben and I met in college through our fraternity and became fast friends. We hung out a lot and he joined Mind Trekkers with me. Through our time together Ben has been an amazing friend. Ben never fails to make me laugh. He makes some pretty great build-a-bears that have caused only a little bit of tension between Ashley and I. Ben and I enjoy playing games online together and talk almost everyday. I just want to say that I'm happy that we've met and I'm proud to have you as my Best Man.
Johanna Uckele

Johanna and I met during our junior year of college thanks to my good friend, August, who introduced her to our group of friends. We instantly clicked once we discovered that we had the same major at MSU. She and I spent countless evenings discussing professors and homework, and eventually moved in together where we would discuss our internships in Ann Arbor. Thankfully for me, she and her cat, Pongo, didn't mind my snakes and I. Johanna will always be my go-to girl for reality TV and movie binging. I'm super excited to have her by my side for our wedding.
Eric Nesbitt

I remember the first time Ashley and I went out for lunch, Eric was in the car with us. It was a little weird that Ashley was the third wheel, but clearly things have worked out. Eric is one of my oldest friends and has been an amazingly positive influence in my life. We were super close in high school and have remained great friends all through college. We met in middle school and have since progressed onto some pretty sweet backpacking trips including an absolutely amazing adventure to Isle Royale. Although his greatest legacy to our adventures was the pound of rice. Some of the coolest things I've ever done, I've done with Eric so it only makes sense that he will be a part of our special day!
Anna Allsop
Bridesmaid
Although Anna and I weren't able to see each other much throughout college, she still remains one of my closest girlfriends. She and I share so many wonderful memories from our time at Dow High and she was there for me during the early stages of my relationship with Andrew. Thankfully she stuck around to help me out with all of the wedding planning and I can take some notes from her and her amazing fiancé, Steven. Anna is one of the most fun-going, yet organized, girls that I've met and I know she will be a huge asset to our team of bridesmaids (and bridesmen). I'm stoked to have her celebrate with Andrew and I.
Adam White
Groomsman
Adam and I go back to being tent buddies from our days in Boy Scouts. Adam is hands down the strongest person I've ever met, no matter what's in his way he perseveres. He is an absolute ray of sunshine, always positive and cheers up everyone around him. Through the years Adam has been an amazingly positive influence on me and I can't emphasize enough how great of a friend he's been. Everyone could stand to learn a few things from the way Adam views life and I am lucky to say that I have had the opportunity to spend 12+ years looking to Adam as a role model. Every time I visit Midland, Adam is a definite highlight of the trip. I'm very glad to have Adam as a groomsmen.
Florian Lautenschlager

Florian and I met during my sophomore year of college. I don't think I've ever met more of a stand-up guy than him. He's the most polite, selfless, understanding, heart on his sleeve, kind of guy. Did I mention that he is also the best cook I've ever met? Florian will always put his friends first and I've really appreciated his friendship throughout the years that I've known him. Despite moving out of state, he and I still keep in touch regularly and I consider him one of my closest friends. I'm so excited to party with him, and I'm so happy he will be standing in our wedding.
Ben Metzger

Ben and I met in college through Mind Trekkers, and he even helped mentor me to be President of Mind Trekkers. In the time I've known him he has been an amazing role model and he is always there when I need him. He always picks up the phone if I call, happy to chat when I need to talk, and is always ready to adventure. Ben brought me ice climbing and we went on many amazing camping trips through out the UP and Wisconsin. One of the greatest people I've ever met. He works tirelessly to improve the lives of everyone around him, including mine. I'm proud to have him as part of our wedding.
Chris Brenton

Chris and I go way back. Like way, WAY back. Ever since he tried to bury me in my crib with anything his little toddler arms could lift, we knew we would get into so much trouble together. Chris and I were always close friends growing up, he even let me hang out with him and his friends when we were in high school. Little did he know that he'd introduce me to my future husband. Chris is a one of a kind guy. He somehow rides the fine line between obnoxious and hilarious with ease. There has never been anyone else on the planet that could make me laugh as hard as he does. I consider myself lucky to have a brother like him, and even luckier that he agreed to be a "Bridesman". See ya on the dance floor, Chris. -Ashley Turns out he has a pretty cool sister. -Andrew
Michael Carey

Michael and I go way back, all the way back to little league, and became super close in High School. I can't even list the amount of good memories and adventures we've had together through high school and college. Some of my favorite adventures were when he visited me in Houghton and when I went to his final college track meet. Michael is someone who always knows how to cheer me up. He regularly goes the extra mile to help me out and has been there for me for over a decade now. I can't thank him enough for everything that he has done for me throughout the years. I am excited to have Michael as a part of our wedding!
