When do I arrive and where?

Answer

If you would like to take the bus from The Outpost (formerly The Winwood Hotel) to the venue, please arrive by 3:45pm at 5220 NY-23, Windham, NY 12496. - Please let us know in your RSVP that you would like to take the bus. - The bus will return you to the hotel at the end of the evening. If you would like to drive yourself to the venue, please arrive by 4:00pm at Windham Mountain Club, 19 Resort Drive, Windham, NY 12496. - There is free on-site parking.

Question

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

We recommend you wear comfortable shoes that are securely attached, OR bring a pair of outdoor walking shoes and a pair of indoor dress shoes. - To get to the chair lift, you will walk up a set of expanded metal stairs (the steps have little holes to allow the snow to go through) so stiletto heels may be challenging. - There is also a small grassy hill up from the patio to the chair lift. This may be muddy. - The chair lift has a foot bar to rest your feet on. - The restaurant has cubbies at the entrance, so if you bring a second pair of shoes, you'll have a place to store them during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
