When Tyler and Siandhara met in Latin class in 2011, they had no idea they’d become each other’s best friend. Through newspaper and yearbook, hours of driving, tattoo appointments, and traveling between Arlington, Texas and Norman, Oklahoma, they’ve supported one another and shared everything. Tyler is the Meredith Grey to Siandhara’s Christina Yang, the Texas to her Oklahoma, and her best friend in the whole world. Tyler is also the mother of the flower girl, Iris.

Ashley Riggs-Snader

Ashley is the first friend Siandhara made in the Buckeye State. Ashley introduced Siandhara to the humor of South Park, and has never steered Siandhara or Austin wrong when it comes to local food recommendations. From the Cleveland Monsters to winning tickets to comedy clubs, Ashley and her husband Snader have been at Austin and Siandhara's side through it all in their first few years of living in Ohio.

Kelli Stacy

Books, old colonial-style houses, and the six-part “Pride and Prejudice” mini-series are just a few of the things Kelli and Siandhara have bonded on over the years. The two met while working for the OU Daily at the University of Oklahoma for the #sprots desk helping cover football, basketball, and wrestling, among other things. Kelli has been a great source of strength and wisdom for Siandhara. Her warmth and kind heart have always made the bride feel at home.

Kathryn Pena

“Do you want a sandwich?” Kathryn quickly found her way to the bride’s heart through food in 2018 at the OU Daily, where the two quickly adopted each other. Whether it was quietly screaming at journalism or visiting one another on a cross-country drive, Kathryn has been there for Siandhara through thick and thin ever since.

Torri Sperry

With a need for an apartment before the next semester in college, Torri and Siandhara quickly became friends and roommates in 2016. The two lived together with two talented dancers for the next two years. During that time, Torri became an inspiration to Siandhara to know it was - in fact - possible to balance school, fun, and work.

Darsha Dodge

Bridesmaid

Despite starting out in broadcast journalism and being from Arkansas, Darsha was one of the few competing journalists in South Dakota Siandhara respected. While the two became closer near the end of the bride’s time in the Mount Rushmore state, Darsha was a true friend, especially with the introduction of Siandhara’s addiction to Starbucks’ iced pumpkin spice chai tea latte with three pumps of brown sugar syrup.
