Back when the Kik messenger app was the popular way to connect with friends, they found themselves in the same group chat through mutual friends. What started as Caitlin playfully trying to set Dillon up with someone else soon took an unexpected turn. After sparking a Snapchat streak, Dillon asked Caitlin to FaceTime one evening. That single call lasted 16 hours, and from that moment on, everything changed. Just two days later, they met in person at the mall, and soon after, shared their first movie date. Dillon eventually asked Caitlin to be his girlfriend with a line as cheesy as it was unforgettable: “I only broke my ankle falling for you. Will you be my girlfriend?” From that very first call to today, Caitlin and Dillon have been inseparable—building a life, a love, and countless memories together that have led them to this very moment.
