FAQs

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend to stay?

Answer

We're arranging a room block at Zota Beach Resort, where our wedding will take place, along with recommendations for nearby hotels. You'll find all of these details on the Travel tab of our website!

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, valet parking is complimentary.

Question

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

We recommend planning to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins. Travel times can be longer than expected, especially during peak season.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults‑only celebration, with the exception of immediate family and members of the wedding party.

Question

I have a dietary restriction/food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Once formal invites are sent, there will be a space provided in the RSVP section to notate any dietary restrictions/allergies.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate plus one’s formally invited on the wedding invitation. Once the formal invite is sent, your plus one would appear under your name when you RSVP! If you’re unsure, just reach out!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) as that will be the closest airport to our venue; however Tampa International Airport (TPA) or St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) are also options. Check out the Travel tab for more information.

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors and in sand. Cocktail Hour will be hosted under cover on Zota's Viento Terrace.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Coastal Cocktail Attire: Dressy yet comfortable for a beach setting; the ceremony and reception will take place on sand, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes- or none at all! Please note: casual beachwear is discouraged.

Question

Can I wear heels / what about shoes?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place on sand. Heels are welcome, but not required! Wedges, flats, sandals, loafers, boat shoes, flip flops or going barefoot are all great options.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

March weather is typically warm and sunny, with cooler evenings. We recommend lightweight fabrics and bringing a light layer just in case!
