Since our venue is in Eastport this is the best option to be the closest to the action. There are many super cute places to stay in Eastport and downtown Annapolis (locally referred to as DTA). We plan to head over the bridge to DTA after the reception to romp around some of our favorite local spots.

Conveniently located on State Circle in the Historic District, the Capital Hotel is steps away from all the major attractions in Downtown Annapolis. They have six beautifully decorated private rooms to choose from each with amazing views. The hotel stands three stories tall and is at least 200, and possibly 300, years old. It has undergone a variety of restorations – the most recent addition was added in 1900 and the entire Hotel was renovated in 2022. You can see the bones of the original building from Chancery Lane, possibly the most photographed site in Annapolis because of the way it perfectly frames the illuminated dome of Maryland’s State House. The alley was also allegedly part of the path taken by George Washington returning to Mount Vernon on December 23, 1783, after resigning from his commission in the State House.
