Santa Fe is a beautiful town nestled at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. It sits at ~7,100ft of elevation which can take some adjusting. The sun is also VERY strong. We recommend using sunscreen and drinking plenty of water so you can enjoy your visit headache and sunburn free.
There are too many good options to list here. We recommend enjoying the local Northern New Mexico cuisine while you are here. We love the breakfast burritos from The Pantry Rio or Tia Sophia's (both near the Plaza) and The New Baking Co (favorite burrito with a location and atmosphere for locals). Be sure to try them "Christmas Style" (both red and green chili). For lunch or dinner we recommend skipping the Shed and going to La Choza (near the Railyard) for more traditional New Mexico fare.
While we both love kids, children are limited to our immediate family only.
