FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible! We need all RSVPs by August 15th.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 4:30 to get parking and settled before the ceremony begins! We will start promptly at 5pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal please! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Ladies, Midi to Floor length dresses are appropriate. Be mindful of heels as our ceremony is outside! Men, please no jeans!!!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As you know, Abby is a 4th-grade teacher, which means her days are filled with 'inside voices,' playground mediation, and enough glitter to last a lifetime. She loves her students and your kiddos dearly, but for the wedding day, she’s officially turning in her whistle! Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration and hope this notice gives you plenty of time to make arrangements for a well-deserved night off. We can't wait to see you on the dance floor!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that you do not bring anyone that is not already specified on your invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we do recommend carpooling with friends or family, as parking spaces are limited. If you will be enjoying an alcoholic beverage with us, please arrange transportation with others. We want you to let loose and enjoy the night to the fullest! Let’s make it a night to remember for all the right reasons!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The same weekend as our wedding is the Georgia National Fair. Please keep this in mind while traveling. This is a very popular time during the year and can fill up hotels very quickly!
