The Green Bay airport is the closest – it's 1 hour 20 min drive away. You can also fly to Madison (3 hour 20 min away) or Milwaukee (2 hour 50 mins away).
Driving is the easiest. We will also arrange shuttle service for guests who are staying in the area. More information will be sent out closer to the wedding date. Stay tuned!
Most likely yes. We can arrange shuttle bus service that takes you to and from the wedding venue, but you and/or your party will need a car to get around the peninsula if you want to explore. Taxi service exists in Door County but is limited, especially over the holiday weekend. There's no Uber or Lyft as of 2021. If you can't drive or want to carpool, email or message us and we can figure out a plan.
Yes! We have a wedding block at Gordon Lodge. Reservations can be made by calling front desk at 920-839-2331 and referencing the Lu-Corey wedding. Prices are listed on https://gordonlodge.com/stay/. Our guests will receive a 7% discounted if (and only if) they call to reserve. If you can't get a room at Gordon, don't worry – Door County is a popular vacation destination with LOTSA cabins, condos, and hotels. We recommend checking VRBO and AirBnb for cabin/apartment options. There are also many campgrounds in the area. **NOTE:** HOTELS AND CABINS SELL OUT FAST IN THE SUMMER, SO PLEASE RESERVE YOUR ACCOMMODATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Baileys Harbor is where the wedding will be held. Sister Bay, Ephraim, and Fish Creek are charming towns on the other side of the peninsula (approx. 15-20 mins drive from the venue). Sturgeon Bay is the largest town, but it's slightly farther away – about 40 mins drive from the venue. It's up to you! Overall, Door County is just really pretty, so you can't go wrong with any lodging choice.
