Question

Will we get to tour the historic Duncan Manor?

Answer

The house does not have tours scheduled on the celebration day. However, we will have a cocktail hour from 1-2 pm on the Manor's main floor before heading to the event space. You are free to roam the grounds and view the lovely scenery any time during our time at Duncan Manor.

Question

Will we get to see Caitlin and Ryan get married at the celebration?

Answer

This celebration before the October wedding is for all friends and family who reside in the Midwest (and beyond). Due to venue constraints for the East Coast celebration in NYC, we are having one in the Midwest so everyone has a chance to congratulate the happy couple!

Will there be a full meal at the celebration?

Answer

The celebration is scheduled from 1-5 pm. We will provide lots of yummy trays, cheesecake (Ryan & Caitlin's favorite dessert!), a variety of drinks, plus beer and wine. You won't go away hungry!

Question

I'm traveling out of town and want to spend the night. Where should I stay?

Answer

We are working with a local hotel to get a block of rooms for any guests who want to stay overnight. We will add their name to this FAQ once we solidify the details. There are many Airbnb properties in Bloomington/Normal to choose from, too.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the celebration?

Answer

Yes! The two hotels we are working with offer a shuttle to Duncan Manor. If you prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking at the event space.
