Kate and Daniel's whirlwind romance began one fateful January night. Kate was at a work party with Jordan Webb, her corporate manager and dear friend. The night was just beginning. Growing bored of the chocolate talk, tired DJ and stale shrimp cocktail, the pair started looking for their next move. Jordan was a true friend and confidant. Since Kate's life-altering relationship status change, Jordan had always been one to get Kate out of the house, inviting her to tag along at various events. On this night she had the best idea in the entire world - let's meet up with her then boyfriend (now hubby) who was celebrating a birthday with friends nearby. The two entered the bar. Daniel jumped up from his seat to shake her hand. As everyone found their seats again, Daniel remained standing, looking confused as to how he could possibly make his move with so many chairs in his way. He asked Kate if she wanted something from the bar and as she started to say her drink order, he held out his hand and said "I won't remember that, do you want to come with me?" - he was right. Tequila and water is a tough one. She took his hand. It was soft and had never seen a day of hard labor in its life. He cracked 2 excellent jokes on their way which took Kate by surprise. His sense of humor was incredible - quick, smart, and belly laugh worthy. The next few hours flew by as Kate and Daniel connected and laughed over just about everything.
