Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is "black tie optional"; we want everyone dressed to nines! Tuxedos, floor length gowns, the whole shebang! Jumpsuits, suits, and dressed-up cocktail attire are all also welcome. We will be walking on grass/gravel/uneven floors as well so for those thinking of wearing heels, please plan accordingly!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 3:45pm. You'll need time to find your seats and get comfortable!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Maryland around our wedding date is usually pretty temperate but can get quite hot. On average, the outside temperature can be anywhere from 68-80° and can get into the low 50°s at night. While we will be moving around and dancing the night away, a light outer layer may come in handy!

Will travel be required between the different wedding day events?

Answer

Nope! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception AND after party drinks are all located inside our venue.

Do I need cash for a cash bar?

Answer

If you're planning on staying for after party drinks at the venue pub, then yes! For the cocktail hour and reception, we will have an open bar!

Once I arrive, where do I park?

Answer

There will be attendants on site to direct you once you arrive; there is a second lot across the street from our venue that most guests will be directed to.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 1st. Any RSVPs received after this date may not be able to be accommodated.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes, HOWEVER, we are having a strictly enforced, "unplugged" ceremony. Please refrain from taking photos or videos of any kind during our ceremony (that's why we have the fancy photographer and videographer); we want you to share in this moment with us. After the ceremony, snap away! Please take lots of pictures and feel free to post on social media as well (if you do, consider using our hashtag #CheersToTheCoccas and tagging us so we can see all the moments we may have missed)!

I have dietary restrictions, will there be food options for me?

Answer

Yes, we can accommodate most dietary needs. Please let us know on your RSVP of any allergies/dietary restrictions we should be aware of!

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes, there are ramps and accessible access to all the event spaces at our venue. Please be aware though that there will be moments we are walking on grass, gravel, and uneven floors.

Can I bring a date? Can my children come?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes! We are hosting a welcome event at the Walkersville Bowling Center in Walkersville, MD. More information available under the “Schedule” tab.
