Ray and Vanessa frequented many of the same places at the same times in their youths, but never met. Later in life, they came across one another a few Junes in a row. One June, Vanessa introduced herself to Ray not thinking he remembered her, and he said, "I know who you are". They went on a date a week later and here they are.

Ray and Leland planned the proposal for years. Leland picked out the ring and decided it was best to do at Disneyland. Early morning, before the park opened to the public, Ray got down on one knee and asked Vanessa to marry him. Leland was overjoyed that she said yes.
