Wedding Party

Ema Jacketti

Maid of Honor

Ema is Mary's younger sister, and honestly, she might be even weirder than Mary (which is saying something). They’ve always been inseparable, the kind of siblings who could make each other laugh with just a look. Growing up, their mom used to joke that they had their own secret language, and she wasn’t wrong. Ema has been Mary's built-in best friend, her co-conspirator, and the one person who always understands her quirks because she shares them. Mary couldn’t imagine this day without her by her side.

Nick Weintraut

Best Man

From sharing a bedroom growing up to getting gloriously lost in Tokyo at 2AM, Nick has been Zack's ride-or-die from day one. He's the kind of guy who won't talk you out of the crazy idea; he'll just make sure you don't get yourself killed doing it. A voice of reason wrapped in an adventurous spirit, he's been Zack's balance and his backup his entire life. There was never any question about who would be standing closest on this day.

Anni Jacketti

Maid of Honor

Anni is Mary's direct older sister, though growing up people constantly asked if they were twins. She perfectly embodies what it means to have a sister: Mary’d steal her clothes for a school dance, Anni would catch her, and before you knew they we were in a full-on sibling showdown. But beyond the fights and fashion theft, Anni has always been Mary's partner in crime, especially when it came to going out and having fun. She’s the sister who taught Mary how to push boundaries, laugh through the chaos, and make every adventure unforgettable.

Josef Jacketti

Groomsman

Josef is Mary's older brother, and like any good older sibling, he took it upon himself to teach her the important things in life; like how to skateboard. He also spent countless hours playing outside with her growing up, though things occasionally took a turn, like the time Mary accidentally hit him in the head with a basketball. Accidentally. Josef has welcomed Zack into the family like he's always been there, and the two have since bonded over regular gym sessions together. Having him here means the world to both of them.

Chiara Jacketti

Maid of Honor

Chiara is the oldest sibling in Mary's family, and she’s always been someone Mary looks up to. They share a love for running, and Chiara never hesitates to belt out a song with Mary, whether it’s in the car or in front of strangers at a bar, like the time they did karaoke together for Mary's 21st birthday. Chiara also shares Mary's tendency to cry over absolutely everything, which makes them a perfect emotional duo. But fair warning: stay far away when she's in the middle of a rage clean! She brings energy, laughter, and a fearless spirit to everything they do, and Mary's so grateful she’s here to celebrate this day with her.

Kai Jacketti

Groomsman

Kai is Mary's younger brother (who is secretly the weirdest one between Mary, Ema, and Kai). The youngest of the crew, Kai was also Mary's partner in crime growing up: basketball, swing ball, manhunt, you name it. He also got the short end of the stick being dragged along to every college tour and move-in his older siblings put him through, but he never let that go to waste. Case in point: the belly flop in the hotel pool that nobody saw coming and nobody has forgotten. Kai has always known how to make any situation more fun, and having him here is exactly right.

Emily Weintraut

Bridesmaid

Growing up, Zack and Emily had their priorities straight: fierce Monopoly disputes over who got the CABD money, and a shared love of science that most siblings definitely don't have. Emily has always been Zack's other balancing act — slow to rise, but once she's up, she hits the ground running. And she means that literally. Zack got into running, Emily got into running, and now Emily is faster. That's pretty much how it's always gone: wherever Zack starts, Emily wakes up, catches up, and laps him before he knows what happened. Distance hasn't changed a thing — she's still right there, keeping him honest and pushing him to be better. Having her here today is everything.

Rhett Hackett

Groomsman

Zack and Rhett met at Bertucci's in 2014, bonding instantly over a mutual appreciation for each other's watches and the rest is history. Before long, the two were taking New York by storm in a limo and building something far more meaningful: a shared commitment to uplifting the people around them and living life to the fullest. Rhett is the rare kind of friend who truly gets it. He was the first person to understand what "stay grounded" really means to Zack. Whether they're sharing journaling habits, diving into philosophy, or commiserating over the monotony of corporate life, these two always find a way back to what matters. Zack is thrilled to have Rhett in his corner on this special day.

Emma Haran

Bridesmaid

Emma and Mary have been best friends since 7th grade, when they first met on the basketball court. Over the years, Emma has become such a part of Mary's life that her siblings call her their "cousin", and honestly, she fits right in. She's so close with the family that she hangs out with them even when Mary isn't around, which says everything about how seamlessly she's become part of the crew. From teammates to lifelong friends, Emma has been by Mary's side through it all.

Michael McGoldrick

Groomsman

Zack met Mike through Jess, and what started as group hikes quickly turned into Zack happily third-wheeling their dates. Somewhere along the way, Mike became one of his closest friends. The friendship was truly cemented the day the two decided to eat a raw Reaper and Ghost chili pepper together, a decision that trauma bonded them for life. And apparently once isn't enough, because they've kept the trauma bonding going by running a marathon together. Zack is grateful to have Mike and Jess in his corner.

Noriana Radwan

Bridesmaid

Noriana and Mary have been friends since 9th grade, and their friendship only grew stronger through college, with visits squeezed in whenever life allowed. They even earned their PhDs at the same time, which meant countless FaceTime sessions filled with coding lessons, encouragement, and plenty of laughter. Noriana has been a constant through every stage of Mary's life, proof that true friendship can survive both the teenage years and a debugging marathon.

Adam March

Groomsman

Zack met Adam at a work happy hour shortly after moving to Raleigh in 2019, and the friendship was off and running. The two bonded over ultimate frisbee at work before expanding their adventures to 100+ miles of greenway biking, gym sessions, tennis, brewery tours across Raleigh, concerts, festivals, and more than a few wild rides tubing down the Neuse River. But the moment Zack knew Adam was truly one of the OGs? Walking into his place and being greeted by a giant American flag made entirely out of beer cans hanging on the wall. Adam is the most chill and eccentric friend a guy could ask for, and he's been there every step of the way as Zack built his life in Raleigh. There's nobody quite like him.

Nikole Rizzo

Bridesmaid

Nikole was Mary's college roommate, and for four years they slept literally inches apart, with Nikole graciously tolerating Mary's trail of clothes on the floor the entire time. She was Mary's built-in plus one to every event, and they even worked side by side at The Rat, their on-campus bar, proving their friendship could survive both shared closets and shared shifts. She's been Mary's bestie ever since, and Mary couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Jesse Alonzo

Groomsman

Zack and Jesse met at work, doing their best to keep things professional, until they realized they both had the same taste in hip-hop and rap. Before long, Jesse and Katie were coming over for dinners that inevitably ended in someone getting absolutely destroyed in Super Smash Bros. These days the hangouts look a little different: sports gambling, trying new food and beer around Raleigh, and the occasional reminder that Jesse is one of the chillest dudes alive. The man never breaks a sweat, whether he's throwing down beats as a DJ or watching Zack lose money on a bad parlay. Zack is lucky to have him, and glad he's here to celebrate.

Sophia Lanzendorf

Bridesmaid

Sophie and Mary met freshman year of college and have been close ever since. Nikole likes to joke that she's besties with two of the same person and honestly, she's not wrong. Sophie and Mary even got scuba certified together, always ready to dive into the next adventure (literally). They share the same carefree attitude that makes every moment feel a little more fun, and Sophie has a way of making life feel like a vacation no matter where you are. Mary is so glad to have her here to celebrate.

Michael Lai

Groomsman

Zack met Michael through meeting Mary and Brenda, and it didn't take long before the two were going head to head with shots. Countless nights of drinks, Mario Kart, camping trips, and beach adventures will do that. Michael is the kind of guy who always brings a little extra zest to the room — he's got some of the hottest takes around and never shies away from spicing up the conversation. Lately the two have taken their bonding in a new direction, nerding out over collecting Magic the Gathering cards together. Zack is thrilled to have him standing by his side today.

Abby Turner

Bridesmaid

Mary met Abby not long after moving to Raleigh, and the two hit it off immediately. From drinks out on the town to walking their crazy dogs together at Shelley Lake, they have never had trouble finding a good time. They've made plenty of memories beyond Raleigh too: Puerto Rico, music festivals, ski trips, and whatever adventure comes next. Abby is the kind of friend who makes a new city feel like home, and Mary is so glad she found her.

David Cupp

Groomsman

Cupp and Zack built their bond over history, chemistry, and philosophy — chasing the kind of questions that sit beyond good and evil. Cupp has a way of keeping Zack grounded, reminding him that life carries meaning in and of itself. When they're not untangling the big questions, they're doing the simpler work of friendship: a well-aged whiskey, a good cigar, and conversation that makes the hours disappear.
