Maid of Honor
Sara is my best friend of over 10 years. You'll notice a theme with my bridal party, but the foundation of our friendship began in college at 34 E Maynard where we noticed that we both loved Netflix, Panda Express, and horror films. We literally navigated adulthood together and helped each other through the worst versions of ourselves and now celebrate the best versions of ourselves. There is so much more that I could say and I feel that I could write a novel on our friendship, but I will leave it at this: I quite genuinely have the best MOH a girl could ask for.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met at Morrill Tower as she stormed into our dorm room with 500 totes on move in day and the sarcasm to make anyone laugh and chuckle. I cannot put into words the impacts that Lauren has had on me and who I am today. Let's just say we called her the "mom" of our college group for good reason because she has always known how to support and care for those that she loves. I could not even imagine a world where I would not have Lauren by my side on this day.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and I met in Morrill Tower and she was our unofficial/official roommate at 34 E Maynard. Caitlin and I quickly bonded over sports, specifically THE Ohio State Buckeyes. Caitlin and I made a tradition to eat brats at the beginning of every football game and let's just say we never lost to Xichigan during our time there. Caitlin is the life of the party, always there when I need her, and answers my medical questions all times of the day (bless). I had the privilege to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and I can't wait to have her by my side. GO BUCKS BABY.
Bridesmaid
Nikki and I met in Morrill Tower and spent most of my college years as roommates. Obviously, OSU is an important part of my life for many reasons. Nikki has consistently been a supportive, loving, and loyal friend to me. Nikki is the DIY girly and she has made so many things for me during my special times of life that I still hold onto and cherish deeply. Nikki and I have bonded over reality TV, shopping, and music. We love to sing and dance together and I cant wait to get on the dance floor to our favorite songs. I was so excited to stand by Nikki on her big day, and I cant wait for her to be part of mine.
Bridesmaid
Amber, my amhamburger, my social work queen and bestie. Amber was my first "social work friend" when I entered into my big girl career after college. On my first day, I asked Amber how to use my key for our office and since that moment we became "work best friends" and now she's stuck with me for the rest of her life. When we worked together, we quite frequently would get mistaken for each other and I think it's because we are both a little crazy and weird. From there, we would often be seen in the hallways playing bumper carts and creating happy chaos everywhere we went. I might have hated my job, but I found one of the best people out of it. I am so happy to have Amber by my side.
Bridesmaid
Aubry and I met in my early 20s and during COVID. The person who introduced us continued to say "You and my friend Aubry are a lot alike." I honestly didn't know what to think about that comment until I officially met Aubry, and I almost immediately realized that person was correct. Aubry and I are very similar in many ways which sometimes tends to get us in trouble lol. If you know you know. Aubry and I quickly developed a friendship where we understood each other, supported each other, and knew how to be there for the other person when needed. From reality TV, to wine nights, concerts, cat-opoly and farmers markets the fun truly never ends. Of course, I needed my partner in crime next to me.
Best Man
Lance is my brother of 23 years and counting and "built in," best friend. We have always been blessed to have a solid relationship, from childhood and now into our adult lives' we do pretty much everything together. Never a doubt in my mind he was going to be the first guy standing by me on my big day. Over/Under on his Best Man speech line set at 3.5 minutes, let me know your guess!
Groomsman
Zach and I met at BGSU in the fall of 2017. When I joined my business fraternity, he selected me as his "little brother" due to our similar interest in hating to love the Chicago Bulls, employment at Walmart, similar dark senses of humor and the love of the game of pickup basketball at the rec center. After college, we both started our careers in Columbus and have remained close friends ever since. After having the honor of standing by him on his wedding day, I am thankful to have him standing next to me in mine.
Groomsman
Caleb and I met at BGSU in the fall of 2017 when we were in the same pledge class for DSP. We spent a lot of time together throughout college (he pulled me through one semester of Spanish) and after college we lived together in Dublin for almost 3 years. During that time, he convinced me to eat chic fil a almost every Friday, planned several trips for our friend group to go on, and was able to witness Jade and I's story from the very beginning. I will always be thankful for our friendship and happy to have him by my side.
Groomsman
Tyler and I also met at BGSU in the fall of 2017 while pledging for DSP. Our relationship really took off when I accidentally planned our "first pledge class social gathering" at his apartment without his permission. After I moved out of the dorms, Tyler and I lived together for 2 years where we, along with Noah Baker, became the founding fathers of "The Mullet" (IYKYK). When Tyler moved to Columbus after graduation, I knew our college days were never going to be completely behind us and I am beyond thankful for the memories and continued friendship, and am grateful to have him by my side.
Groomsman
Spencer is one of my other "built in" best friends. He was born just 3 weeks after me and we have had an inseparable bond ever since. Even though we grew up hours apart, we had so many great memories growing up and spending time at each others houses in the summer. From airsoft wars, crashing 4wheelers, excursions in Jamaica, buckeye country super fest x3, random phone calls where I have to ask him how to fix things, to growing up and being blessed to stand with each other in both of our weddings. I will always be thankful for the relationship I have with my cousin, Spencer.
Groomsman
JJ and I met on move in weekend at BGSU. We both lived in Centennial Hall on the second floor (shoutout Noah Jackson and Lucas Hoffman, my other Centennial besties). JJ and I spent a lot of time together and truthfully should have been roommates from the start. He is the closest thing I could possibly have to a second brother. I always appreciate our serious talks, almost daily chats, sports conversations, and if anyone was going to convince me to pack it up and move to Florida, it would be him (he already did that without me). I was honored to be right next to him at his wedding, and I am thankful to have a friend like him next to me at mine. Fun fact: After my phone went off twice during his father-in-laws speech at JJ's own wedding, I no longer take my phone to any weddings because of that moment.
