We met in March 2020 while working at News 12, Michelle behind the scenes producing the newscasts, and Jonathan out in the field covering the chaos of the early pandemic. Somewhere between breaking news alerts and live shots, our love story quietly began. Jonathan likes to say he fell in love with “the voice in his ear.” Turns out, he has a thing for Long Island accents, and that voice stuck. Our first date was the night before New York locked down: just pizza, a six-pack, and a quiet beach. It wasn’t fancy, but it was perfect. We’ve been inseparable ever since. After four years, countless adventures, and one very spoiled dog later, Jonathan proposed in Montreal, with a sunset over the St. Lawrence River and a very enthusiastic “yes” from Michelle. We’ve spent the past few years building a beautiful life and family together with our dog, Summer. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you on October 17, 2026!
