To be honest, neither of us remember actually meeting. We always just sort of knew each other. Maybe it's some kind of past life thing where we've been married in every lifetime and we just had to find each other. It's probably less poetic than that and more like we met sometime freshman year at a random event. Regardless, our lives meaningfully intersected one fateful day in 2015 at Aquadelt, a strangely water-oriented fraternity at Berkeley, when our mutual pal, Michelle Pitcher, asked Rocky to take a picture of us. I (Zahra) somehow looked so cute in the picture that Rocky just had to ask me out. He asked me on the perfect date-- to hang out in one of his fraternity brother's rooms with seven other people. I almost didn't go but my dear pal, Kate Wolffe, convinced me to because she thought it would be fun to meet boys. And thank god she thought that because Rocky and I instantly clicked that night and we pretty much wanted to hang out everyday after that. Now, after almost 10 years of hanging out, 2 years of long distance (yes we count SF to San Jose), one covid-era roadtrip, a cross-country move, living with our parents, countless boardgames, and many many laughs, we are finally getting married! And we cannot wait to celebrate our little love story with all of you!
