If you're driving up or flying in, chances are you'll end up in Portland at some point. Its a about an hour twenty away from where the wedding is and a great place to stop for a meal.
They electrocute the lobsters here. Idk they say its humane. Great spot on the pier to grab a lobster roll.
Where the Pier meets the town Commercial Street has a bunch of shops and bites to eat. You can get pottery made by local Maine artisans, Maine memorabilia, a freshly fried gluten free donut made of potato, or a drink at Three Dollar Dewey's (sadly it will be more than $3).
Arcadia (not to be confused with Acadia) is a fun arcade bar where we love to hog the central table and play smash brothers. They've got pinball, Balatro, Guitar Hero, Ms. Pacman, and Jack and Em's favorite, Deal or No Deal.
Bar Harbor is a cute little town that's just outside of Acadia National Park. There's a bunch of shops and restaurants to check out, you could hang out on bench and watch the boats sail by, or even book a whale watching boat tour.
This ice cream shop is in Bar Harbor and they've got buttery Lobster ice cream
You know we love a National Park. At Acadia you can hike up a mountain, walk along a sandy beach, maybe see a seal, check out a lake, or drive up Cadillac Mountain and see a gorgeous sunset. You can also be like Jack and get too close to the Thunder Hole.
