Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There a large parking lot at our venue that will hold all our guests. Our ceremony site, cocktail hour, and reception are all at the same place!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our ceremony and reception, guests can dress in semi-formal apparel. Cocktail dresses, sundresses, pantsuits, suit jackets, and dress pants are are perfectly fine! Michigan can get chilly in the evenings this time of year, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater even though you'll stay warm dancing all night long!!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, of course. Please reach out to Kenzie or Ben when you RSVP so that they can communicate this with the catering team and make sure you get some great food options! We will have a vegetarian option available

What is the weather like in Michigan this time of year?

Answer

Michigan is a beautiful and unpredictable state with weather, but on average the high in late September in this area is 75 degrees and the low is 49 degrees. Cocktail hour is outside but heaters can be turned on outside the building for comfort! Our dinner and reception will be indoors

Where Should I stay?

Answer

There are cottages on site, but they are limited and we will be utilizing them for our wedding party and immediate family for the night of the wedding. We recommend booking in the block of rooms for Gun Lake Casino and hotel that is around a 12 minute drive from the wedding site. There are also various Airbnb homes and cottages options within a few mile radius of our venue! If you are struggling to find the right place to stay, don't hesitate to reach out to Ben or Kenzie!

Please RVSP by July 26th so we can give our final count to our venue!

If your invitation includes a plus one, you are welcome to bring a date along!
