let's celebrate!

AJ planned it all out to a tee and Jenna had no clue. He got her friend to take her to get her nails done the night before. He schemed a hike in Taylors Falls, MN with some close friends and all our pups. At the top where we have taken pictures every year, he asked a friend to take a picture of us and then got down on one knee. She started crying instantly and doesn't remember most of what he said - but he definitely said all the right things. He gave her the ring (which didn't fit much to his chagrin) and she was intensely impressed with his selection.

Some of you may not be aware, but we actually signed all the paperwork on July 18th of 2019. After 7 years of dating, 5 years of living together and 2 dogs - we figured it didn't make sense to wait an additional year to make it official. We were surrounded by a few family and friends when we signed the papers and said some quick vows at city hall. Afterwards we grabbed burgers and beers and it was perfect. We are excited to celebrate with everyone we love and adore on our 1 year anniversary.
