From the first night we met, our fate was set. Maybe the second thing he said to me was, "Will you be my wife?" Shockingly, it wasn't until two weeks later that I approached Chris at a party and asked, "Do you remember me? I'm your wife." From that day on, we were inseparable. After only a few months of dating we were on a trip with our friends in Hocking Hills. Some thought it would be funny to get Chris to cause a scene and "fake propose" to me. What was a funny prank turned into one of the most memorable moments of our entire lives. Four years and some change later, I found myself on a "girls trip" to Hocking Hills. Our plan was to go for a short hike before heading to the cabin for some much needed girl time. My plans quickly changed when I looked up to see Chris standing on the same rock he "proposed" to me on four years earlier. In the past four years it's felt like we've lived a hundred lifetimes. Watching each other graduate college, follow our dreams, and make an impact on the world. And we've done it all side-by-side. The struggles, the many, many joys, rescuing our baby boy, Sully, and buying our first home. We've created something special together. A bond that will last through this life, and beyond. We are SO excited and grateful to spend our special day with all of you. You are the people who have stood by us through thick and thin, supported us in every way, and been cheering us on from the sidelines. Thank you for being a special part of our journey and our story.
