A beautiful spot for exploring local history, tour the mansion and stroll the grounds for a peaceful look into the past. Andrea completed two internships and volunteered at the location. She transcribed written diaries from the 19th and 20th century into digital copies.
If you have time, feel free to dedicate a day to travel into New York City! Catch the train at the nearest station (New Hamburg in Wappingers), grab some authentic New York food, and maybe even go see a Broadway show! We had the joy of seeing Phantom of the Opera before it closed in New York in 2023. Or, go to the other side of town and check out our favorite spot: the 3-floor Harry Potter store at 935 Broadway, New York, NY 10010!
