FAQs

Question

What is the address of the venue? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at the Peabody Essex Museum, 161 Essex St. in historic Salem, Massachusetts (corner of Essex and New Liberty Streets). All public areas of the museum are accessible to wheelchairs.

Question

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

Our ceremony beings at 6:30PM. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime after 6PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is Black-Tie Preferred.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

With the New Years holiday we strongly recommend walking to the wedding venue. All hotel room blocks are located less than an 8 minute walk to the Peabody Essex Museum. Due to the close proximity of the hotels, shuttle service will not be provided.

Question

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

There is a parking garage located to the right of the Peabody Essex Museum on New Liberty Street. If the garage is full, we recommend parking at the MBTA Commuter Rail Garage at 252 Bridge Street or the South Harbor Garage located at 10 Congress Street. Both locations are within a short walk to the museum.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.
