They met in May of 2011 at a mutual friend's capture-the-flag game and bonded because they were the only ones wearing long jeans in summer. In August, they went on their first official date - Captain America: The First Avenger at The Skyline Drive-In. After six months of constant texting, they made it official on October 12th.
They went to Disney World in October of 2016 to celebrate their five-year anniversary. On October 19th (one week from their anniversary), atop the Contemporary Resort at The California Grill, Aaron waited until just before Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams - their nighttime fireworks show - was about to begin. He held Elizabeth's hand and told her she was his best friend before presenting her a ring. She cried and said yes, of course, and then they both downed their champagne (okay, Aaron suffered through just one sip) and enjoyed the fireworks.
When they first got engaged, they promised everyone that the engagement would not last longer than the relationship before they were engaged - so here they are. Five years and one week from their engagement date, ten years and two weeks from their courtship date, they are officially tying the knot in a private, low-key ceremony.
