We’ll be spending plenty of time outdoors, so pack sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, and sunglasses to stay protected. Wear comfy clothes and shoes that are perfect for dancing, walking, and exploring the woods (think sandals, sneakers, and hiking boots rather than heels). Bring decorations to personalize your bunk or cabin, like fairy lights, cozy blankets, or anything that makes your space feel magical. If you're staying overnight or hanging by the fire, you might also want a camping chair, headlamp, snacks, a reusable cup, and extra layers. If you plan to utilize the waterfront, bring a bathing suit, towel, and extra change of clothes.
We will have private use of the venue from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon (you can stay after you check out of your room!). This includes sauna and canoes (Saturday only), swimming, both the wiggly and covered bridges, as well as 6 unique trails throughout the property. Make sure to bring hiking shoes and/or swimwear if you plan on doing either of those types of activities.
No, guests are welcome to come for some or all of the weekend's events and stay wherever is most comfortable for them. If a shared bathroom or cabin is not your vibe, there are many hotel options in nearby Woodstock or Kingston, as well as tons of local B&Bs, which you can find through Airbnb or VRBO.
Yes! There will be free and ample parking for all of our guests.
Friday: Although you are welcome to arrive on Friday evening, there will not be a meal served, so please come fed or plan to bring something to munch on. Saturday: Guests are on their own for breakfast. Lunch will be served after the ceremony around 1:00 pm. There will also be a light dinner served around 7:00 pm. Sunday: Enjoy a delicious brunch before you say goodbye!
There will be a chance to share this info with us on the RSVP.
Yes! Bed linens and towels are provided for guests staying in the Longhouse, Sycamore Lodge, Red Maple Lodge, and all private cabins. We still recommend bringing any extra sheets, blankets, pillows, or personal toiletries you may want to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
For camping or any of the private cabins, guests will use a communal bathhouse that is a short walk from where they are staying. This is complete with toilets and showers. For the Longhouse (both private rooms and bunks), there is a shared bathroom in each wing, where you will be sharing with other guests staying in the building. This is complete with toilets and showers.
Most onsite buildings use fans rather than air conditioning. The Longhouse is the exception and is equipped with mini-splits that can be set to cooling. Please keep this in mind when selecting your lodging and planning what to wear for the summer weather.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors under the covered bridge. The reception will follow with lunch and dancing outside.
Yes! If you're bringing a swimsuit or change of clothes so you can utilize the sauna, canoes, or swimming, you will be able to change in a public restroom or the bathhouse, which also includes showers. Please bring your own toiletries and towels if needed.
Check out is at noon on Sunday, but guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the property for the afternoon. Feel free to stick around after breakfast for a hike, swim, or impromptu jam session.
No, unfortunately there are no dogs allowed on the property.
