Formal attire requested: We ask men to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women to wear an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress. We’ll be starting the celebration in our traditional church, so we encourage attire that balances elegance with respect for the sacrament. (think jackets, shawls, or any light covering if needed)
Gesú Church does have a parking lot with a security booth. Let the security know you are there for the church and parking will be free! Spots are limited at the church, but there is an another paid lot across the street. The Marriott has discounted valet parking for the reception at $25!
We kindly ask that guests arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time to be seated before the ceremony starts.
Yes, the ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass with communion, about one hour. Communion will be offered to all practicing Catholics who are properly disposed. If you wish to refrain, you are welcome to stay seated or approach for the customary blessing by our priest. Mass Programs will be available once guests arrive.
To maintain the prayerful atmosphere, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during our Nuptial Mass. Our professional photographer will capture all these sacred moments.
While we would love to celebrate and spend time with you all in as many moments as possible, our rehearsal dinner is just for our bridal party and family members participating in the actual wedding ceremony. Info coming soon!
Our wedding ceremony will be indoors at Gesú while our Reception and Cocktail Hour will be held at the outdoor courtyards of the Marriott overlooking the marina and city views!
Weather should be from the high 60's to the mid 70's. Basically the best weather we ever get down here!
