FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/ semi-casual attire.

Question

What will weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Weather will vary, but generally the high temperature for the day is around mid 50's with the low being around 40. Rain is always possible so having an umbrella is recommended due to having 2 venues.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The bridal party will be taking pictures immediately following the ceremony for an hour or so. Reception venue will open at 4, and bar will open at 4:30 for guests to arrive and grab a drink prior to dinner.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP here on our website by September 19th, for both the ceremony and reception. If you have any issues at all please feel free to reach out to Justin (574) 300-0664 or Jenny (574) 386-3484.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Unfortunately due to the home Notre Dame game we are unable to block any rooms, if you need accommodations we recommend booking a room ASAP.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We will be offering non alcoholic options, beer and wine but all liquor selections will have to be paid for by each individual guest, if wanted. We will provide a buffet dinner with vegetarian options, included.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have our registry here on our Zola website. We are hoping mainly to save for a forever home down payment or even a weekend away, rather than honeymoon, but we have added a variety of items that we would enjoy if you are uncomfortable with the cash fund ideas. Having you with us on our day will be one of the best gifts of all!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you do not interfere with the photographers and tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #WeDew so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There is free parking at both venues.

For all the days along the way
