We first met on a blind date at Port City Java set up by our pastor. He had gotten to know both of us over the last few years of serving in ministry with us. He approached both Steve and I and expressed his desire for us to meet, which we agreed to. In the days leading up to this blind date, we spent our time praying for one another and composing a list of questions to ask on the date just in case we were shy (a recommendation from "The Love Doctor, AKA Chris Davis". Lol). Meeting for coffee, we had next to no information about one another; our only instructions were to wear matching grey outfits accompanied by a bible. We instantly hit it off over Tea, and what was supposed to be a short date at a local coffee shop stretched through the morning, past lunch, and well into the afternoon in the form of a evening walk down by the water. It was clear to both of us from the early moments of our first date, that God had brought us together, and in his perfect timing, had giving us to each other as the other half to our whole. In intentionally pursing God together, and by extension one another, It did not take long for Steve to pop the questions and for Tatiana to respond with a teary eyed yes! We are both excited to love and honor one another as we chase after God together for the rest of our lives!
