We matched on Hinge in early April 2021. Later that month we met for the first time on April 29th, 2021 in downtown Raleigh at Virgil’s Cocktails & Cocina. Upon seeing each other, we had an instant connection that sparked conversation and laughter all night until the restaurant closed. We continued dating, enjoying various activities together such as dinners, walks in the park, and live performances. Our most memorable date from early on was a day trip to the vineyards in Yadkin Valley, North Carolina. Soon after our trip to the vineyards, we decided to become an official couple on July 18th, 2021. Two years later, on August 12th, 2023, we got engaged in Yadkin Valley. Looking back, we credit that initial trip to Yadkin Valley as the catalyst for our relationship. As a couple we have taken many fun trips to places including national parks, beaches, and big cities, yet our trips to Yadkin Valley have been the most special.
