Cory and Emma became friends in 2016 through mutual connections. In the coming years, they went on many adventures through Colorado and across the states. Emma always said he had the best laugh and the most twinkly eyes. Their friendship was strong and they became each other's shoulder to lean on during difficult times. After many attempts by the universe to bring these two together, it finally happened! Cory and Emma's relationship started with an evening walk on the beach, drinking whiskey and playing in the sand and waves. The relationship grew each day, filled with road trips, little pranks (Cory even took Emma's showerhead and mirror out of her apartment while she was at work), deep talks, eating crab legs under Emma's bunk bed, and taking their two tiny humans on adventures, eating pizza in the tub, finding new camping spots, and jumping out of airplanes. After spending every day together, growing their plant collection, sitting in the hot tub under the stars every night talking until they were too tired to stay awake, and eating ice cream and popcorn in bed, they decided it was time to find a home of their own to raise their family. In 2021, the couple bought their first home together. With their two girls, they added lots plants and animals, and spend each day laughing together, doing house projects, and having movie days, only moving from the couch to get more snacks. Cory and Emma always find joy in even the smallest things done together. On November 1, 2022, Cory asked THE question. After dinner at the beautiful Cliff House restaurant in Manitou Springs for their three year anniversary, they walked through the town. (There was not a single open ice cream shop on a cold Tuesday November night). After laughing about favorite memories over the past few years, Cory proposed in the middle of a big mosaic compass under the stars. Did Cory cry? Maybe. Did Emma cry? For Sure.
