We went here for our second dating anniversary and loved it so much we had to have the wedding here! The restaurant on-site (The Ozark Mill Restaurant) is a great place to grab a meal. There is plenty to see on the grounds (farms, pedestrian bridge, river) and if you want to explore more they have guided tours and a museum!
Ruth Ann and Daniel always end up eating a lot of custard when they visit Missouri (mostly due to Ruth Ann's ice cream addition--but we blame it on the gift cards). We recommend the "James Brown Funky Jackhammer". (There are other locations, this one is just the closest to the hotel.)
World's First Bass Pro Shop and has a turtle sunning station, a ton of aquariums, and even a hunting museum! Great place to wander around if you're new to the area and bored. The adjacent Wonders of Wildlife museum is a bit pricey ($41 ticket) but a really cool nature museum!
