FAQs

Question

Can children attend the wedding festivities?

Answer

We completely understand that every family is different, so we’re leaving it up to parents and guardians to decide whether bringing little ones on the trip feels right for you. We just ask that children are supervised at all times and included in your RSVP accordingly. A few helpful things to keep in mind: - The resort has both an adults only (TRS Coral) and a family side (Grand Palladium) of the property. The bride and groom will be staying at TRS Coral. Guests will choose which side of the property they would like to stay on when selecting a room type. TRS Coral guests have access to both sides of the property. Grand Palladium guests will typically only have access to the Grand Palladium side of the property. - If you choose to stay on the family side of the resort, you will be able to access the TRS Coral property for the official wedding festivities. If you'd like to access the "adults only" side at other times during the stay, you'll need to purchase a day pass or another type of upgrade option offered by the resort. - The resort offers fun and engaging programming for kids! You can explore those options here: https://www.palladiumhotelgroup.com/en/hotels/mexico/costamujerescancun/grand-palladium-select-costa-mujeres/experiences/just-for-kids - Children under age 3 stay free - Some wedding events may not be suitable for children (explicit music, venue age policies, etc.) - Children will need to head out from the reception at a designated time

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our desire to keep the celebration intimate and we will only accommodate guests for wedding events who are specifically named on the invitation. That said, you're more than welcome to travel with a plus for your trip — especially if you'd prefer to book a double occupancy room. We hope this makes your travel more enjoyable, even as your guest won’t attend the wedding festivities.

Question

How much does the trip costs?

Answer

There are a variety of room options that will impact the price of the trip. You can view the full list on the travel agent's site under "package costs". The prices listed are per person, not per room. https://www.voyagedestinationweddings.com/lovelane

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Due to our wedding being hosted at all inclusive resort, guests are required to finish paying for their room by June 15, 2026 to be included on our final guest list.

Question

The travel website has room options for 2 resorts - where should I stay?

Answer

TRS Coral and Grand Palladium are sister properties which are adjacent to each other. The bride and groom will be staying at TRS Coral, which is the adult only side of the property. If you will be traveling with children you should choose the Grand Palladium - which is the family side of the resort.

Question

What do I do if I want a double occupancy room but I don't have a roommate?

Answer

If you don't have a roommate and are looking to share a room with another wedding guest, please select "help me find a roommate" for the roommate question on the travel site. Note: Depending on the number of guests, finding a roommate is not guaranteed if you select this option. The bride and groom will provide you with an update on your options to pay for a single, double, or triple as guests are confirmed.

Question

Which days should I plan to travel?

Answer

We’ll be sharing a full schedule of activities as the date gets closer, but here’s a quick overview to help with planning. We kindly ask guests to plan for a 4 night stay at the resort—from Thursday, September 3 to Monday, September 7—to allow plenty of time for travel, relaxation, and celebration. Key events to note: ✨ Our Welcome Cocktails will be held on Friday evening 💍 The Wedding Ceremony will take place on Saturday ☀️ A Sunset Soiree will happen on Sunday evening to say farewell to the bride, groom, and guests We recommend using Thursday and Monday as full travel days, as the wedding weekend is also a holiday weekend. With the possibility of increased airport traffic and delays, giving yourself extra buffer time will help ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. If you’re only able to join us for 3 nights, that’s totally fine, and we recommend arriving Friday afternoon —we’re just so excited to celebrate with you, no matter how long you stay!

Question

How does the payment plan work?

Answer

Full details about the payment plan options are on the travel coordinator’s site. In short… The deadline for using the automated payment plan has passed. However there are other options available. There is a manual payment option available which you can find on the website here: https://www.voyagedestinationweddings.com/lovelanestore For manual payments, once you select your room type, the system divides your total into five equal payments. You will need to go back and make each payment at your leisure. If you’d like to change the number or size of your payments, just reach out to our travel agent (info@voyagedestinationweddings.com) and they’ll be happy to help. Pay in full: “Paying in full” will allow guests to pay for the full cost of the trip OR use Klarna. Klarna will allow a payment plan up to 24 months from your purchase date. This option may incur interest.

Question

Who do I contact if I have questions about the trip?

Answer

For questions about travel arrangements, please reach out to the travel coordinator: info@voyagedestinationweddings.com

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

You can check the "Schedule" page for the dress code of each activity. Please refrain from wearing white/cream to all activities.

Question

When are final payments due for the destination wedding?

Answer

All trips must be paid for, in full, by June 15, 2026.

Question

Am I invited to attend the local reception in Maryland?

Answer

To make sure we can celebrate with all of our loved ones, we’re hosting a local reception in Maryland in addition to our destination wedding in Mexico. Due to space limitations, not all guests will be invited to both events. Your personalized schedule on this website will show exactly which events you’re invited to—just search your name on the RSVP page to view your details.
