A Private Moment, A Future Celebration

To Be Determined

We’ve decided to host a small, intimate ceremony this year, with only our immediate family and wedding party. But don’t worry, the party is still on! We’re planning a reception for next year so we can celebrate, bailar toda la noche, dance the hora, and toast with our tías, cousins, friends, all our dear ones! We can’t wait to see you then!

How We Met

October 27th 2023

Online dating was a hit for us! We connected on Coffee Meets Bagel. After a few days of texting back and forth, we finally went on our first date—dinner at Sushi Nikkei in Long Beach on October 27th, 2023. From then on, we just kept growing closer through cozy movie nights, dinner dates, deep conversations, and lots of laughs. It wasn’t long before we both realized we were falling for each other, though we held off on saying “I love you” until March 2024. On January 20th, 2024, Andrew surprised Katya with lunch at Terranea and asked her to be his girlfriend. Every day since has been wonderful, peaceful, exciting, and full of love. On December 14th, 2025, Andrew took Katya back to Terranea for another surprise, this time for an engagement.

Engagement Speech

December 14th 2025

“Katya Alexandra Dávila Reaño. My baby, LOML saltada, and Shoelace Mariner, my noodle. It is so rare in this life that you find someone that you share una mente, un corazón, y un alma with. I love you so mucho mucho. Merging our lives together over the past 2 years has been the happiest time of my life. We have created a family together with our little Nala, and I want to continue building our love and lives together for the rest of our lives. Will you do the honor of spending the rest of your life in love and happiness with me as my wife? Will you marry me my love?”
