"The Right to Remain Silent"

What started as a quiet, low key love somehow turned into shouting our feelings from the mountaintops in Banff, Canada (literally). But like all good stories, it began in a place neither of us expected. In 2021 at Sandpiper Shores, Ms. Jimenez met Officer Greenwald. There was a silly first impression details classified but it involved enough laughter to carry us through the years. We chose to keep our relationship private for a while. That quiet season made everything stronger. From there, the adventures began. We traveled everywhere together Vegas, St. Louis, New York, Puerto Rico, Canada and took more road trips than we can count. Long drives, bad singing, great playlists, and late-night snack stops became part of our love language. Eventually, we moved in together (with our best friends), turning a house into a home full of laughter, support, and chosen family. Life wasn’t always easy, but every obstacle reminded us that we’re better on the same team. We grew up, grew closer, and learned how to show up for each other in real, meaningful ways. Our story is also one of faith and growth. The journey toward converting to Judaism for Adriana has been incredibly meaningful, and with the conversion officially completing in May 2026, it feels extra special to step into this next chapter together grounded in shared values, intention, and love. Somewhere along the way, our once-private love found its voice. Standing in Banff, surrounded by mountains that felt as big as our feelings, we realized just how far we’d come and how proud we were of the journey. We are best friends, partners, and each other’s safe place. This isn’t the end of our story it’s just the beginning, and we can’t wait to keep writing it together.
