What should I wear?

Answer

Think Lord of the Rings, Hobbits, Final Fantasy, Ren Faire style clothing. We ask that you refrain from black, forest green, and burnt orange (as the ONLY color). All other earthly colors such as browns, yellows, greys, different greens, gold, and silver all work beautifully. Please see our attached inspiration board for ideas! Our venue is outside with the ceremony being on rocky terrain. Question

I go to the ren faire, can I wear my outfits?

Answer

As long as it fits within our fantasy theme, we encourage you to wear something you will be comfortable and happy in. We are also welcoming Elf ears to be worn if that fits your idea. We simply ask that you refrain from Viking, Steam punk, and Pirate aesthetics. While they are in fact fantasy, they simply do not fit in our specific theming. We appreciate your understanding.

Is the wedding outside or inside?

Answer

Yes. While the Ceremony will be fully outside, cocktail hour and the reception will be outside, in a covered area. The wedding will be in November. There's a chance it will be cool, there's a chance it will be warm. Either way, we will be taken care of. If it rains, the day will be rearranged accordingly. No changes will be needed for guests knowledge.

Where do I park?

Answer

The parking lot is right outside the castle. All you have to do is follow the directions to the address, and the lot is right where you turn in. We warn you the final turn into the destination will surprise you. It's a sharp turn in with a sign that can be difficult to see. While it will still be daylight, we simply remind you to be alert when you arrive. There will be golf carts, should you need them, to take you to the location of the ceremony. You are also welcome to walk as it is not a long distance.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

To accommodate all of our friends and family, the venue is fully accessible. While the location for the ceremony is outside and a bit of a walk, there are on site golf carts to shuttle people to and from the parking lot. Which is located just outside the castle.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. We will have a small selection of alcohol with two signature drinks. We will have a selection of non alcoholic drinks as well. Something for everyone!

Can I contact Zack or Kenzie day of?

Answer

We would greatly appreciate you reaching out to us with questions or needs the day before. Night before and on, we will not have our phones. To which, you are free to contact Rachel, Erin, or Michelle with questions day of if absolutely needed.

Can I take photos with my cell phone?

Answer

No. We are paying a good amount for our photographer/videographer to capture our day. Please be kind and keep your phones away from the ceremony. On silent, and put away. We welcome you to use during the reception, but please remember we have photographers as well as disposable cameras for use. We ask that you please do not post on social media until the day after. To keep everyone living in the moment.

How can I send a gift?

Answer

Please see our registry that is listed on the website. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out. Please do not feel obligated to send a gift. We are forever thankful that we even have you present at our wedding. Being surrounded by all our loved ones is the best gift we could ask for.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We ask that you stick to those who were listed on the invites/RSVP here on the website. As much as we would love to give a plus one to everyone, we simply can not. We appreciate your understanding on this.

Question

Can we hang out while Im in town?

Answer

We ask that you plan your trip accordingly for yourself. While we love you all dearly, we will be busy prepping for the big day. We can not make any promises you will see us before or after. We will be leaving Friday afternoon for a small weekend trip to New York as a short getaway. (We are planning a real honeymoon trip for the following year to Japan.)
