Wedding Bells Will Ring

Madeline I first saw Austin standing in the rotunda before our first class of Music History. I was so nervous that I did not introduce myself, however, I told myself that I would talk to him before the next class. I created a study group for the class and invited Austin to join and also extended an invitation to attend Christian Challenge. As we became better friends, we spent more time together outside of class. We would walk around Emporia sharing about our past experiences and dreams for the future. On October 14, 2017, Austin asked me out on our first date to Pet Palace where we got to hold puppies! Austin Before transferring to Emporia, I began to doubt my choice of school; I was panicking and wondering why God would lead me on a path away from all of my friends. One of my closest friends reminded me to be still, continue to trust God, and rest in the knowledge that He would have great things in store for me in Emporia. Of course, my friend was correct. I became acquainted with Madeline through our Music History class. Shortly after bombing my first test, I was invited to join the study group that she was in. While studying for these tests, I got closer to Maddy and the others in the group. I quickly became interested in Maddy, but it wasn't until she invited me to the Christian Challenge group that she had me completely locked in. Her dedication to Christ was what I desired to replicate in my life. Now, trying to pick the BEST first date proved to be a challenge. I did know that one of her favorite discussion topics was her dog/child, Stevie, so I decided that surrounding her with dozens of puppies was the best way to go! And now... We are so excited to begin our journey as husband and wife! We ask that you please pray for us and we invite you to join our celebration!
