Sean Warren

Best Man

How do I even begin to explain what Sean means to me? He is not only my brother, but my best friend, someone who I know is always there for me. When I was lucky enough to find Rachel and knew that I would marry her, I knew without a doubt who my best man would be. Sean is such a loving, caring person, and to make everything even better he loves Rachel and welcomed her into our family. I couldn’t imagine a better person to be my best man. With his adventurous nature and desire to go places, he is the first person I call to plan a trip, and in many cases one of the few people I want to be there. I love him with everything I have, and will always cherish the bond that we share. A Quote From Sean: Choosing one memory of Scott isn’t sufficient enough to show how amazing it was to grow up with him. There are so many fun, crazy adventures we have had that I’ve loved. From all our camping trips, skiing, scuba diving, building stuff, getting drunk in Mexico together and so much more! Having Scott as my brother and best friend is a never-ending supply of unforgettable memories. I’m so happy you picked Rachel. She’s amazing. I’m excited for your big day, I love you a ton. -Sean

Michelle Ribaudo Russell

Maid of Honor

Growing up with three sisters always meant that I would have three best friends for life. However, growing up with a sister, who was exactly 18 months apart in age, felt more like having a twin. Michelle and I shared EVERYTHING. A bedroom, clothes, cars, friends, and, most importantly, our journey from girlhood to womanhood. There is not a single childhood memory of mine that didn't involve the two of us on some type of grandiose adventure. Whether it was you teaching me my ABCs on the back of our parents' white furniture, learning how to waterski, riding horses, cutting class in our 95' suburban, or staying up late watching scary movies, you have always been my partner in crime. One of my favorite memories of us has to be our "goodnight ritual". When we were little, our mother would read us this one story almost every night before bed and to this day we carry the message of this story with us. Every night before we fell asleep, we would tell each other, "I'll like you for always. I'll love you forever. And as long as I'm living, my sister you'll be." Even now, there will be times before we hang up the call that we will repeat this line because no matter how old we get or how many miles divide us, we will always share an inseparable bond. As my big sister, you have always been there to guide me through life's biggest laugh-and-cry moments, and there is nobody else I'd want standing right by my side when I marry the man I love. Love you Lil!

Jackson Spirito

Groomsman

Family is one of the most important things to me and I’m so glad I’m a part of a family that values that as well. Jack is my first cousin and also a best friend of mine. He is someone who lights up every room he goes in with his bubbly personality, and is someone I couldn’t see myself getting married without being by my side. He is and will probably always be the best snowboarder I know, and I love that he will do things that no one will. Whether that’s dropping into a run with zero visibility falling for what seemed like forever just to yell and say “It's good”, or driving over an hour to San Diego to go boating for the day and then driving home just to make sure he was there. He is a great friend and cousin, and will always be in my life; not just because we are family, but because he means the world to me. A Quote From Jack: Dear Scott, We were only 13 and I had gotten lost through the trees on the backside of Mammoth — all alone — I strayed away from our family, and I remember seeing you first. I called out and you came over and bailed me out of a tree well and I followed you through Hole in the wall, which is easily a triple black diamond (if they existed). If not for you I never would’ve conquered my fear that day. You’re always there when people need you and you’re a shining light on a hill for passing ships which is why you’re the best cousin, friend, brother, and soon-to-be husband anybody could ever ever ask for. I love you, Scotty!

Dani Ribaudo

Bridesmaid

DAN-YELL! There are no words to describe this blondie. As my little sister, I'd like to think you learned everything you know from me, but we're telling truths here, not jokes. In fact, there are many lessons I learned from you growing up. Your perseverance, confidence, and ability to candidly speak your mind is truly inspiring. You are my go-to person whenever I am looking to have a good time, a great laugh, or the honest truth. You are sincerely one of the coolest people I know and Scottie's best hype woman. With all of the adventures we have shared from river trips to country concerts to quarantine buddies during COVID lockdowns, you have made every single memory of ours something to look back at and laugh with amusement. I couldn't imagine my big day without you by my side. Love you smalls! A Message From Danielle: It might be silly, but one of my favorite memories of Rachel and me is when we lived together at our parents' house during COVID. I came home from college when everything went virtual and we had so much fun messing with the parents, watching Tiger King, and making Tik Tok dances. We became so close in such a weird time in the world and had so much fun quarantining together.

Garrett Yack

Groomsman

Garrett is someone who went from a friend to a best friend, to a role model all in a matter of seconds. We met in college and I knew from day one that I wanted to be close to him. He had a way of commanding a room but in such an elegant way. He is someone who genuinely cares about those around him, and that is a value that I look for in someone that will be a part of my life. Garrett is one of my role models that I’m lucky enough to call my friend. I think one of Garrett’s best qualities is that he cares about the people around him and knows everything that is going on in their lives. He has an amazing family, he is an amazing father and businessman. What’s not to love and look up to?

Stephanie Moyneur

Bridesmaid

As the eldest, you were always the person we, as your younger sisters, looked up to as our idol, especially me. I remember as a kid all I wanted to be was you. This is why I stole your clothes, impersonated your makeup routine, and bugged mom to let me hang out with you and your friends. While it was difficult for us to connect when we were younger, given the age gap, as we grew older we formed one of the strongest bonds that could only be recognized as soul sisters. It's hard to put all of our memories into words. From our late night laughs at the river to our Stagecoach shenanigans (especially the year you paid my way #youaintcountry) to our heart to hearts that would always end with tears, you have stood by me through my shinning moments and, most importantly, my darkest hours. My favorite memories of us, however, involve the two beautiful littles you brought into this world. It's been such a blessing being a part of the family you and Tyler have created and I am so thankful of the great times Scott and I have made with our nieces (although they seem to love their Uncle Scottie more than me). No matter how old we get, I know we will have days when we look back at those times, when it was just you and I, searching for our path in this world. And we will just smile knowing we found exactly what we wanted. Love you and P.S. don't forget to wear pants to my wedding, you old Nana!

Tyler Bahneman

Groomsman

When I got to college I was in search of who I was like and could relate to. I met Tyler, in week one and we were inseparable from that day forward. It all started with a presentation on the City of Poway that neither of us prepared for or even knew where it was. We were forced to think on our feet and found out that we bounced off each other’s thoughts pretty well. This turned into a lifelong friendship that I cherish. Tyler and I lived together, spent summers together, traveled together, and made memories that will live with us forever. I think looking at the present day he is a friend that no matter how much time passes, as soon as we meet up again it's as if nothing has changed. I’m so proud of the man that he is and I am so excited to have him with me at my wedding.

Christa Zindroski

Bridesmaid

Chris-DUH! My childhood wouldn't have been the same without you. You always knew how to bring life to the party. You define my "laugh till I cry" moments. Our memories with each other will always be locked away in our hearts of youth. From our dramatic attempts at playing Mozart on the piano, to our once-in-a-lifetime trip to D.C., to the countless rides in SOUL cart, to our college years, countless parties, endless laughs, and shoulder-to-lean-on moments, we have built a friendship that will last us through time. It's through thick and thin with us, which is why I couldn't be happier to have you by my side on Scott's and my big day. Love you DUH! Message From Christa: Rachel and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. There are a few defining moments of our friendship, including getting into zero trouble on the weekends in high school when we used to go "cosmic bowling" and galavanting around the river on golf carts. Rachel and I have been friends through so many stages of life- small children, awkward tweens, teenagers, and the many transitions that come with adulthood. Whether we are near or far apart in distance or time between talks, when we're together the bond is always a strong one forged by so many laughs. Rachel has such a beautiful soul, and I'm so excited she's found a person to share it with for life.

Michael Dokas

Groomsman

Mikey, Powfow, or Dr. Dokas came into my life unexpectedly. Mikey is one of my cousin Jack's oldest friends and we were introduced by Jack. From day one, we shared memories, and stories, and found that we were so very alike. It was almost like a light switch where we were all of a sudden great friends. Since then, we talk almost every day, our families meet up for holidays and events. He has become one of my closest friends and I am looking forward to all of our adventures to come. He is also a role model for the father I one day hope to become and knows how to live life as if it does end. I am so glad that we met and now looking back can’t imagine it without him. A Quote From Mike: Three years ago, I got a call from Scott inviting me to a surprise birthday trip for Jackson. I had heard Scott's name since I was a kid, but had never actually spoken to or met him. Little did I know meeting him would bring us to where we are today. One of my favorite memories was our road trip to Yosemite where we spent several hours in the car together and really started to bond. When we got there, Scott and Jackson had the brilliant idea of making me hike up a mountain (even though I’m allergic to exercise) to go look at a tree. I am honored to be a groomsman and I am looking forward to making enough memories to fill several websites. Love you both and I am excited to see you take on this wonderful journey as a happily married couple!

Tara Carlson

Bridesmaid

Three decades of friendship and counting! Tara, growing up next door together we formed an incredible friendship that has lasted us through the years. From preschool to womanhood, we have been there for each other through the best of times and the worst. Our countless childhood adventures out at the river are truly my favorite. However, till this day, I don't know how we managed to survive all those times tubing behind your dad's boat. As little kids, I don't think we could have imagined all the laughs, tears, and incredible memories we would share together over the years. You have truly been the best friend I can rely on no matter what, which is why I am so incredibly happy to have you by my side on our big day. Love you!

Toby Pewsey

Groomsman

Toby, how do I even begin? From day one of meeting him he made me feel included. Toby is now Rachel's sister's Fiancé, my new brother-in-law, my friend, and someone that I know will always have fun no matter the situation. When I met Toby, I was the new kid on the block, I had just started dating Rachel and was invited to the river for one of their family trips. Like anyone, I was a little nervous being introduced to their community of friends who were all trying to figure out who I was. Toby made me feel welcomed into the group, and I knew from there we would be close. After that, I found out we had so many interests in common, it was like a long-lost brother I never met. A Quote From Toby: The first time I met Scott was at the river. He was Rachel’s new boyfriend and was instantly one of the most helpful and positive people I ever met. Since then, we have done several river trips and one of the most memorable trips to stagecoach together. Having Scott in your life always means more adventures and knowing that you have an extra person in your corner who will always be there if you need a helping hand. There isn’t another person that I would love to be a brother-in-law to, and I couldn’t be more honored to be a part of Rachel and Scott’s big day.

Brooke Long

Bridesmaid

BROOKE LONGGGG! From the minute Scott and I started dating, you welcomed me with open arms and our friendship just clicked. I love having you as my sidekick on all of our camping adventures. I have never met anyone that reminded me so much of myself at your age. My favorite memory of ours is staying up till we saw the sun rise up on the river and filling the nighttime hours with endless conversations of great stories. Thank you for your beautiful and loving friendship. Love you! Message from Brooke: It’s hard to choose one memory, as there are so many that I cherish. If I had to choose one, it would be the time Rachel and I stayed up all night talking. One thing I love about Rachel is she can ALMOST out-talk me, which I can talk A LOT! One random Saturday night, Scott and Sean ended up going to bed and Rachel and I wanted to escape the boys snoring and went in the jacuzzi and started talking. Hours later, with skin pruned, we decided to finally head to bed. However, on the way to bed, we started talking again. This led us to lighting the fireplace and gossiping until we saw the sunrise.
