Maid of Honor
Shyana is Hillary's longest friend. Hillary remembers meeting in Kindergarten, but Shy will tell you they met long before that. They have spent hours talking on the landline watching I Love Lucy together, shopped for just about every high school banquet dress together, and had countless gym dates. Together they are likely to laugh about anything and everything, and make up a weird accent along the way. Hillary is so thankful for their long friendship, as there is no one who understands you better than a friend of over twenty years.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Hillary were roommates while away at camp in high school and again for two years in college. They shared many meals sitting on the floor of their dorm room, played intermural sports together, and spent countless afternoons in downtown Chattanooga. Later, Rachel would take Hillary on her first overnight backpacking trip, where Hillary would inevitably cry of exhaustion and fear. Now they talk every morning as they drive to work. Rachel the most supportive and thoughtful friend Hillary could ask for.
Bridesmaid
Kira and Hillary met in physical therapy school where they quickly became just about inseparable. They studied for every test together, frequently over coffee, dinner, or a bowl of popcorn. Kira will tell you she was there when Hillary cried over muscles of the neck and for many of Hillary's "three minute power naps". In their third year, Kira opened her home to Hillary for while they lived in Berrien Springs with Kira's husband and dog. This would actually become nineteen weeks due to a nearby clinical placement. There is no one more generous or detail oriented than Kira.
Bridesmaid
Priya is Hillary's childhood friend. They went to Kindergarten together but became close friends in Junior High. They were often found doing ridiculous and silly things together, from playing church handbells to recording early Youtube videos. Priya is Hillary's greatest foodie friend. She has introduced Hillary and Adam to many local favorite spots. Priya is someone Hillary can always count on for words of encouragement or laughter.
Best Man
Derek moved in across the street from Adam in the 6th grade. Adam went over to their house after a cub scout meeting and fulfilled his scoutly duty by offering to help them unload their moving truck. After that fateful day the two were inseparable, and quickly formed a brotherly bond that has lasted through very many amazing and difficult times. Today they enjoy golfing together and having incomprehensible phone conversations that keep them both incapacitated with belly aching laughs.
Groomsman
Jeff is one of the most genuinely caring individuals that Adam has ever met. Although they did not become close friends until their mutual friend Derek moved in with Jeff in 2014, Adam remembers Jeff reaching out to him during his freshman year of college to lend his council during very difficult time. It is this kind of compassion that makes Jeff such an important person in Adam's life. Adam knows that Jeff will always be there for him as his brothers keeper, and vice versa.
Groomsman
Chris and Adam have been friends since the middle school days, even though Adam forgot to invite Chris to his Bar Mitzvah, which he sincerely regrets. In high school, they spent many a weekend having sleepovers and participating in raucous behavior. What Adam appreciates most about Chris is his free and independent thinking mind, impervious to the will of others. Adam can always count on Chris to give him an honest opinion and to challenge his mindset with an unbiased point of view. Chris has always been instrumental in exposing Adam to new music which is something he holds very dear in his life.
Groomsman
Aron was one of the very first people that Adam met in college, during freshman orientation. Their friendship would not blossom, however, until their second quarter, when Aron invited him to a Fraternity event, which unbeknownst to Adam, was actually a trap to get him to join. They were roommates during their Junior and Senior years, and although they both knew the best way to push each others buttons, they became the closest of friends and shared many incredible times together. Since college, they have stayed close and Aron is someone Adam knows he can call whenever he needs a good laugh or heart to heart.
