The Wedding Website of Steve Williams and Alliesha Joseph
They SAW it all coming, Steve and Alliesha Williams! We would like to take the time to introduce you to our Bridal party!

Deniesha Joseph

Maid of Honor

The one and only little/big sister to the bride. We've experienced childhood, teenage years, young adult life, and being mothers. Now my sister is going to be a wife to one of the sweetest most thoughtful men I've ever met!! I can't wait to celebrate them in J A M - Jamaica!!

Kamal Taylor

Best Man

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY. Parents are of Jamaican descent. My friends call me Mel and I'm a straight up fool. I'm a jokester who loves to laugh and have fun with close friends and family. People love me for my personality and the energy I bring when entering a room. I have a tough exterior but definitely a sucker for love with a big heart. So, Steve and I have history. Not sure if there's enough space on this page for me to tell it all so I'll try to make it quick. Steve and I been boys since Boys and Girls high school class of 96. He's my daughter's God father and I'm his Kids God father. Back in the days if you knew Steve, you knew me and vice versa. I was the only Friend that (Loretta) would let hang out in the house when she wasn't home. I became family to his family, and he became family to my family. My mother till this day when referring to Steve says, "how's my third son doing?" Going way back is an understatement. I'll save the rest for the wedding day. As far as "The Wife" Ms. Alliesha, when I first heard of her, I already knew Steve's goose was cooked. Yo Steve where you at? I'm by wifey. Hear me: by Wifeyyyyyyyyyy????? Yea bro I'm by wifey Crib. The way Steve spoke of Alliesha, I knew this day would come. It's finally here and I can't wait to get to Jamaica to meet everyone and turn up. Hi single ladies lol ah joke mi ah mek lol see y'all soon. Alliesha & Steve 2025 babyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Amaari Williams

Daughter

Hey everyone- my name is Amaari. I’m from Brooklyn, NY (Crown Heights specifically). I spend a lot of my time watching sports and TV shows, eating at restaurants, and hanging with friends/fam. I also like to have a good time and can’t wait to celebrate the happy couple! The groom is my father so I have countless memories there. As a unit, I remember my first Christmas with my dad and Alliesha at my grandma’s house (she was a pleasant surprise). Her warmth and genuine energy stood out right away and forced me to put down my “tough” act. To the happy couple- I wish you continued love, health, and positive energy <3

Kylah Morgan

Daughter

Hey guys I’m kylah aka little cheeks and I have the honor of being a bridesmaid for Williams 2025. I am the daughter of the bride and I had the pleasure of meeting Steve 8-9 years ago. Since then I was able to get a front row seat to the love that both my mom and Steve share. I've known my mom, well…my entire life, and since then she has remained steadfast in being my best friend. She is truly the epitome of Queen, someone who is empathetic, giving, intelligent, kind, and forgiving. Every encounter I have with my mom is one that I will remember for a life time. I can say the same also remains true for Steve, there is no one memorable moment, but every moment is memorable. Steve has shown me what unconditional love is and he chose to love me since the day we met. The love that my mom and Steve have shared with me is only a fraction of the love that is to be shared between the two. I wish them both blessings and happiness.

Ryan Williams

Son

Ryan Williams, the son of the Groom, and the now official step-son of the bride. I share heritage with the groom however I was born and raised here in East Flatbush. I'm typically an introverted person and if it was up to me, I wouldn't be out much however life won't allow that. I have a plentiful amount of memorable moments with both the bride and groom, however, the most noticeable ones are whenever there is a gathering at their home. It's always up the block and I just enjoy being around the family in general. I wish nothing but the best for these two and I look forward to seeing their relationship grow stronger and stronger by the day, I've always believed in them and I'm so proud to see they've come so far.

Tanesha Barnett

Bridesmaid and First little sister

I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. I have a strong passion for travel, whether it’s meticulously planned or spontaneous, with friends or solo, and whether it’s local or international. Travel is a significant part of my life, and I thoroughly enjoy every experience it brings. One of my most memorable moments isn’t about the couple but about Alliesha. If you know Alliesha, you know she has a passion for cooking and often creates extravagant meals for family and friends. On this particular Sunday, I walked in and noticed a few trays, a salad, and some garlic bread. When she mentioned she had only made lasagna, I couldn’t help but say, “That’s it?!” because I was so used to her elaborate spreads. But as I thought about it, I felt truly grateful for the effort she put into cooking for us and for the chance to be surrounded by family and friends. And honestly, the lasagna was absolutely amazing! Wishing my brother and sister a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and unforgettable moments. May your marriage be blessed with joy, laughter, and endless adventures. Here’s to a wonderful future together!

Nickesha Barnett

Bridesmaid and second little sister

I am Nickesha Barnett, originally from St. Mary, Jamaica. I am the middle child of five siblings on my mother’s side. I love traveling but have a strong dislike for flying. One of my most memorable moments with the bride and groom was when we first met the bride for brunch. I could immediately sense that they were both a little nervous about the meeting . There was a feeling of anticipation, as they were eager to make a good impression. It was such a genuine moment, seeing how much they wanted everything to go well. As the brunch went on, the nerves started to fade, and we all relaxed, enjoying each other’s company and sharing stories and laughter. It turned into a truly special and memorable experience. May your journey together be filled with joy, laughter, and endless blessings.

Phylicia Edwards

Bridesmaid and youngest sister

Hello everyone, I'm Phylicia Edwards, A fashionista from Brooklyn, NY who enjoys living life to the fullest. I love fashion, style, and luxury. A memorable moment with the newlyweds was the evening of the engagement dinner, seeing the amount of love in the room celebrating a joyous occasion. Wishing my brother and sister all the best on their new journey through life as one.

Dwayne Edwards

Groomsman and First brother

Born in Kingston Jamaica, while growing up in wata house I never had a need or want, and was always surrounded by friends and family. I relocated to Scarborough Ontario at the age of 10 with my mother in search of a better life. At age 13, I took my first trip to NYC where I met my extended family for the first time and was thrilled. From there, every summer I looked forward to making my way to NY where I would no longer be a solo kid; I had a new big brother, big sister, and another sister the same age as me. My new big brother was the coolest thing next to sliced bread. In my eyes' Steve was the king of 48th & Snyder Ave. Dude had a cool circle who respected and admired being around him. Steve always did constructive and positive tasks; people genuinely loved being in his presence. It was like a kid who fell into a pot of gold; I could do no wrong. As years went by, I began missing summers in NY seeing I got into some trouble in Ontario. My 20 year absence from NY definitely took a toll but fortunately things worked out and I traveled to NYC again. Time couldn't be more precious when visiting again; after all we were losing our dad. When I met Steve's light, calm, cool, funny, collected, spirited lady, I remember thinking perfect people do exist in life. Although we came together for something so devastating, every time she came around its almost like we forgot why we were there. Truly a match made in heaven and I congratulate the couple, my family! Williams!

Janvanie Edwards

Groomsman and Second brother

From Jamaica St Mary-London. I’m a vibrant and funny individual, cool friend everyone admires. Deeply rooted in family values, who exude determination and unwavering commitment in everything I pursue. My loyalty is unmatched, and I have a genuine passion for helping others and happiness that leaves a lasting impact on everyone around. At first, I had only ever heard about Sparrow through my dad, who would constantly talk about him—“Sparrow this, Sparrow that.” Then one day, Dwayne mentioned Sparrow, and I said, “Bro, who’s Sparrow?” He replied, “Oh, he’s our big brother. You don’t know him?” I said, “No.” A few days later, I was talking to Dad, and he brought up Sparrow again. I said, “Oh, our big brother?” He said, “Yuh nuh know him?” I replied, “Dad, you’ve never introduced me to him, so how could I?” He just laughed and said, “Yeah, man. Loretta, Loretta’s first boy.” When I finally met Sparrow for the first time, it felt so natural, like we’d been talking for years. The vibe and connection were instant. Then I remember meeting Alliesha for the first time. I think it was at the house. Her energy was incredible, and I immediately thought, “Wow, she’s really cool.” I liked her right away. We had a great time hanging out, and I knew she was someone special. I remember turning to Steve and saying when’s the wedding? I may not have known you all for very long, but one thing is certain, the energy both of you bring is absolutely unforgettable and truly remarkable.

Alicia Hutson

Bridesmaid

Alicia aka CiCi From: Trinidad My first love is being a mom but I am also a Shopaholic, a self proclaimed professional "limer" and a lover of all things food. I've known Alliesha for over 30 years and we became inseparable in our early adult years. She is indeed my "bestie". I first met Steve at one of our many gatherings and quickly realized that he was perfect balance for Alliesha. The perfect introvert to her extroverted personality. Alliesha and Steve I wish you guys nothing but a lifetime of everlasting love, and Steve may God grant you the patience to deal with our random 5 hour phone calls. Love you guys❣️

Atiya Sanchez

Bridesmaid

I’m Atiya (Tee). I'm West Indian American, my parents are from Trinidad (mom) and Jamaica (dad) its "vibes". I grew up on the best block in Brooklyn NEWKIRK (debate if you want). I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and therapist if needed. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the beautiful bride for let’s just say more than three decades, she's not just one of my closest friends but my sister. We created one of the biggest female promotions in Brooklyn, NY with our closest friends TP Ladies. My sis and I are two bosses who always bumped heads but that was small things. Our love for one another has always been a different type of love that only we understand and don’t you dear try to come in between; it could be a problem for you lol. The first time I met Steve, he came to pick up Kylah from my sons 16th birthday party and I would not let her leave without talking to Alliesha. I was like ok let me see what he’s about cause if he's picking up my niece she must really like him. I grew to know Steve and realized he's a keeper. The way he loved and looked out for Alliesha, friends and family made me love him. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do with them. Our road trips are always a vibe and my brothers play list be on point. I’m so happy that I was chosen to be a part of this wonderful union. I wish you both nothing but support and blessings. Always know I am a phone call away and when needed I’m right on the porch lol. Love you guys I am soooo excited

Mereesa Babb aka Chedda

Bridesmaid

Hi guys, I'm Mereesa aka Chedda from Trinidad and Tobago. I have known Alliesha for as long as I can remember, and before I knew myself. Alliesha and Steve are a true reflection of love. They encourage one another, they compromise for each other, and they are not afraid to challenge the other to be a better version of themselves. What's most admirable to me about their relationship is that while they may outwardly appear to be opposites in personality, one an outgoing social butterfly, the other an introverted home body... they truly do share the same core values of family, loyalty and integrity. On any Sunday lime at the house you can find Alliesha turning up with close friends and family with Steve never too far from her side, making sure she's good. Their union is a blessed one and I am so honored to bare witness and be a part of it. ❤️

An important memory with the bride and groom is when my youngest daughter broke their television lol and when Alliesha fell in my parents driveway and Steve had to carry her. 2 very understanding people to say the least. Purdelle Hilaire

Bridesmaid

Hi, my name is Purdelle Hilaire, and I grew up on the beautiful island of St. Lucia. As an educator, I have the privilege of living my passion every day by caring for children. Although I migrated to the United States at a young age, Alliesha has always been like a big sister to me — the one I left behind, but never far from my heart. Steve and I first met through the sound of the speakers in Alliesha’s car. Many times, I’d be sitting in the passenger seat, and she’d never hang up the phone while talking to him. For months, he was simply known as the voice in the car. Then, one Thanksgiving night, Alliesha told me she was stepping outside, and that the guy from the car wanted to come upstairs to meet everyone. I couldn’t wait to finally meet him! But then she told me she wasn’t ready to introduce him to the family just yet, doing things in her own way. In that moment, I knew she had found someone special. I’ve been overjoyed watching their journey together — it’s truly been a blessing. I wish you both a lifetime of love, peace, happiness, and countless blessings. And know that, just like back then, I’ll always be in that passenger seat if you ever need someone to listen. Love you both immensely!

Shellby Lynn Forbes

Bridesmaid

Hi I’m Shellby Lynn aka Shelly a Brooklyn born Trinidadian. Im someone that believes in Love, Community & Family Over Everything. Being a proud black trans female I have learned that love and living in your truth needs a solid support system to back it up. That’s what I found in my sister Alliesha and brother Steve. They both exude such caring personalities that they always go above and beyond for others before themselves. That’s a testament to their true hearts. Alliesha and I have been family since I was sleeping on the floor between her and Deniesha beds on Schenectady before some steel pan adventures awaited us. To later in life us having Steve pick us up after a BOSS Jouvert Party. We are soaking wet and full of paint. And he took care of us with zero hesitation that’s when I knew he was her husband and would be in our lives forever. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, fun, communication and pure love.

Stephen Wilson

Groomsman

Hi everyone, I'm Stephen, born and raised in Brooklyn NY Bushwick area. I enjoy playing basketball, football and spending time with my family. The most memorable thing I can share is when sis was putting pressure on Steve to get married. They had already pass the 5 year mark and was living together. She started explaining to me that she was moving to Florida and Steve wasn’t coming with her out of wedlock lol. When she poored that glass of wine I said uh oh. All I wanted to do was watch the basketball game with Steve and I found myself in a situation that I wasn't ready for. I mean, I was only in the house for 5 minutes when things went left. I made the decision to head back home to my wife and kids because I felt like Steve was going to have a long night and i didn't want NO part. Now look at the Williams. What a beautiful thing to see them two become one. I wish nothing but the best for them and continue to love each other. Congratulations love y'all both.
