What's your new wedding date?
Answer
We don't know. Ashley is responding to COVID-19 and working 60+ hour weeks. Stay home, stay safe and when we figure out our new date we'll let you know. (Probably through e-vite, postage is getting expensive y'all)

Is your wedding really postponed again?
Answer
Yup. We're definitely setting up for better or for worse. Hurricane Harvey destroyed the venue first and now COVID-19. Next time it'll be zombies or a blizzard on the beach. Who knows! Stay tuned for more!!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
Ashley and Zach prefer if you wait until after the ceremony! It'll be short you won't miss your phone for long!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! When you arrive at the beach, let them know you're there for the wedding/events (mention Ashley Hawes/Zach Goike) and drive down to the end of the peninsula. The parking is directly between the ceremony and reception locations!

Are kids welcome?

Yes, kids always get the dance floor going! Note: The events are by the water, please keep an eye on them!

Please try to get there at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony

Is there a dress code? and/or What should I wear?
Answer
Beach Party Casual fun! We encourage khakis, sun dresses, bright colors, think summer fun beach party! (If Zach had his way you'd all be in costumes!)

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Answer
You might trek through sand. The ceremony is on the beach, please be considerate of your ankles! The reception is inside, comfortable dancing shoes are encouraged.

The Ceremony is outdoors on the beach. Reception is indoors/outdoors.

Will food be served?
Answer
Have you met us? Of course there will be food and drinks!!

Will I have to pay for parking?
Answer
Parking is included in our rental of the location. Please tell the employee at the gate that you're attending our wedding or events (mention Ashley Hawes/Zach Goike at the guardhouse) and you will be allowed in!

Will there be dancing?

Yes! Ashley loves shaking her booty! Please bring your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie!

Will there be any activities happening that I need to know about?
Answer
On Friday April 24th we have rented the cabana and all guests have free access to the beach that day! Please feel free to enjoy Rockport Beach! In the evening we will have a welcome party there! These are included on our events page, please RSVP for any you plan on attending so we can get a head count for food.
