McKinney Farmers Market
Close to the venue, explore downtown McKinney for some local food and goodies at the Farmers Market. Open Saturday 8:00-12:00pm.
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve
This has been a go-to spot for walks and picnics through any season. Easily our favorite in the DFW. Located on the western border of Plano, Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a 200-acre park featuring vast areas of natural beauty for walking, jogging, hiking, orienteering, and other outdoor activity.
Legacy West
Close to Camdyn's first apartment in the Dallas area, we would take a quick walk over to Kilwins Chocolates for a sweet treat or over to the Food Hall to have some drinks and watch a show.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
One of our favorite date spots, the Arboretum holds memories close to our hearts.
Dallas Museum of Art
The DMA is one of the largest art museums in America, located in the nation's largest arts district in downtown Dallas.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
This natural science museum is our favorite in Dallas. We've gone numerous times and even visited with Brooke's brother, Luke, and future-sister-in-law, Madelyn! Hours: The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesday - Saturday. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The museum is closed on Tuesdays. Tickets: General admission tickets are $15-$25 for non-members.
Kimbell Art Museum
The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, hosts an art collection as well as traveling art exhibitions, educational programs and an extensive research library. Types: Antiquities, European Art, Asian Art, Art of Ancient Americas Tickets: Free!
Six Flags Over Texas
Like roller coasts? Six Flags has 100+ roller coaster rides, shows, and attractions. When we first started dating, Brooke lost her cell phone on the Texas Giant here, LOL.
