This has been a go-to spot for walks and picnics through any season. Easily our favorite in the DFW. Located on the western border of Plano, Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a 200-acre park featuring vast areas of natural beauty for walking, jogging, hiking, orienteering, and other outdoor activity.
Close to Camdyn's first apartment in the Dallas area, we would take a quick walk over to Kilwins Chocolates for a sweet treat or over to the Food Hall to have some drinks and watch a show.

The DMA is one of the largest art museums in America, located in the nation's largest arts district in downtown Dallas.
This natural science museum is our favorite in Dallas. We've gone numerous times and even visited with Brooke's brother, Luke, and future-sister-in-law, Madelyn! Hours: The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesday - Saturday. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The museum is closed on Tuesdays. Tickets: General admission tickets are $15-$25 for non-members.
The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, hosts an art collection as well as traveling art exhibitions, educational programs and an extensive research library. Types: Antiquities, European Art, Asian Art, Art of Ancient Americas Tickets: Free!
