Flight Information

While there are tons of airports in India, we recommend flying into either Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport (Amritsar – ATQ) or Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi – DEL). Amritsar is about a 2-hour drive from the destination, but flights may be limited and more expensive. Delhi offers more flight options and is often more affordable, though it is approximately an 8-hour drive. Guests are welcome to choose the option that best suits their travel preferences and schedule. Flights from Seattle and New York are often more affordable than those from Canada; however, guests are welcome to choose the departure city that best fits their travel plans.

Accommodation

We’re currently exploring some local hotel options in Firozpur and will be sharing photos and details with you soon. Rooms typically cost around $40–$50 per night. In the meantime, please let us know your planned dates of stay—they don’t need to be exact, just an approximate—so we can begin obtaining quotes. Another option is an Airbnb-style house rental, usually with 3–4 bedrooms, costing approximately $400 per month. These rentals also need to be booked locally. Once the photos are available, please reach out to us, and we will be happy to arrange your accommodation for you. Ride Information

For guests flying into Amritsar, we will pick you up at no charge. For those flying into Delhi, we can arrange cabs, which will cost approximately $200. Please note that at least one of us will always be there to greet you, regardless of the airport. Please share your travel details—arrival date, time, and airport—and we’ll handle the rest. For getting around during your stay, bigger cities like Delhi or Amritsar have Uber and other ride-hailing options, while smaller towns use local taxis and cabs. We can also arrange cabs for the duration of your stay if you’d like. Just share your travel details with us, and we can provide approximate quotes.
