Why Wisconsin?
Answer
A valid question, especially for this California girl! Door County is such a special place to both of us. We’ve spent every summer here together since we met, staying at Jason’s family home and creating some of our favorite memories. When it came time to plan our wedding, celebrating in a place that holds so much meaning felt like the most natural choice. We’re so grateful you’re making the trip and can’t wait to share a place we love so much with all of you.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Each wedding event has a different dress code. Please see below for more details! Thursday (Sip & Settle): Casual Friday (Welcome Party): Summer cocktail For women, think elevated sundress or cocktail dresses. Ideas for men include lightweight suits or dress slacks and a shirt. Saturday (Wedding & Reception): Summer formal Think elevated and elegant, with a warm-weather touch. Women in midi to floor length dresses, men in suits. Color encouraged! Please avoid casual attire and note that part of the event will be outdoors — grass-friendly shoes are recommended.

Can I bring a guest?

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to venue limitations, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are listed. If you received a plus-one, it will be noted when you RSVP - thank you so much for understanding!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (14+). Come ready to celebrate, laugh, and dance the night away! That said, Door County is wonderfully family-friendly, and all other wedding-weekend events are open to children. If you’ll be traveling with kids and need childcare during the ceremony and reception, please reach out as we’re happy to share local recommendations. Thank you for your understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow for ample time to grab a drink and be seated before ceremony start time at 4:30pm.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
There will be a trolley on wedding day for transportation. Please come back for updated timing and pickup locations closer to event date.

Is there parking for the wedding?
Answer
There is a large parking lot on site with the option to keep car overnight if needed for safety.

How long will people be staying?
Answer
Please don’t feel any pressure to stay for a set amount of time — your presence, in any form, means the world to us. Beyond the scheduled wedding events, we encourage everyone to make a trip out of the occasion if able. Door County is a special place with so much to experience for all ages, and we hope you get to enjoy it your way. We’ll be there the entire week and can’t wait to bump into familiar faces around town!
