Where is the wedding venue?

Answer

Cannon Green is located at 103 Spring Street Charleston, SC. Both the ceremony and reception will take place here.

What time should I arrive to Cannon Green?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:30pm.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire is recommended. Please note while the reception is indoors, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be in the enclosed courtyard. We advise bringing a light jacket to keep warm as the sun goes down!

Have you reserved room blocks at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes, there are a limited number of complimentary room blocks available at the Hyatt Place Charleston Historic District as well as SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charleston Mount Pleasant. Please see the travel tab for more information on lodging recommendations.

Will there be shuttle services available?

Answer

Yes, we will offer a complimentary trolley service from Hyatt Place (560 King Street) to & from the wedding to accommodate guests. Time of departure is slated for 3:20pm on November 16th. Fun fact: The venue is only 0.4 miles from the Hyatt if you are late...or prefer a stroll :)

Will there be parking on site at the wedding?

Answer

Parking is NOT available at the wedding venue. We highly recommend arranging a convenient Uber, Lyft or other car service to/from Cannon Green. Charleston Taxi is another great option and can be reserved by calling (843)566-5757. Please note there is also a public parking garage (558 King Street) adjacent to the Hyatt hotel. The daily rate is $18. If you choose to leave your vehicle there, you can hop on the trolley to/from the venue at 3:20pm and 9:30pm respectively.

Are there any events taking place before / after the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome event on Friday, November 15th from 7-9pm. There will be an after party on Saturday, November 16th from 9:30pm - 12:30am.

Answer

The welcome party is at Edmund's Oast. Please note there are 2 locations!!!! The address of the event is 1081 Morrison Drive Charleston, SC.

Yes! There is a large parking lot located at Edmund's Oast (again the address is 1081 Morrison Drive).

What should I wear to the welcome event?

Answer

We recommend "smart casual" (e.g. dress shirts for guys, dresses for the gals). Note the event is outdoors however, guests will have access to a covered pavilion area with seating. While the venue houses firepits and patio heaters, we advise guests to bring a light jacket.

What else should I know about the welcome event?

Answer

All are welcome to attend! It will be a fun time to meet other guests before the wedding. Refreshments and desserts will be served :)

How do I get to the after party?

Answer

We will offer trolleys starting at 9:15pm. It is also an 8 minute walk from the venue! The after party is located inside the Hyatt Hotel (560 King Street) at their rooftop venue - Pour Taproom: Charleston. Please see the schedule tab for further details.
