Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony". That means we request that all guests keep their phones and cameras put away during our wedding ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture all the wonderful moments during our ceremony, and would hate for a well-meaning guest's phone/camera to block the photographer or videographer from capturing these moments. After the ceremony and during the reception, feel free to take as many personal pictures and videos as you would like!

Where can I find hotels?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn - Lincoln Southwest, near the venue. When booking at this hotel, please use our link or ask for the Heermann/Weber wedding block if booking over the phone. Booking information can be found on the “Travel” tab of this website. However, due to very recent Big10 scheduling changes, there will now be a Nebraska home football game that weekend. Hotels will book extremely quickly due to this, so we encourage all guests to book their rooms as soon as possible. There are also other hotels and Airbnbs in the area and around Lincoln if our hotel is sold out when you book.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target, Amazon, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond. We also have cash fund gifting options for our honeymoon and furniture for our future home that can be found on the "Registry" tab of this website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want all our guests to be comfortable when celebrating with us! Please come dressed as you are comfortable, whether that is a cocktail dress, suit, or jeans. We would only ask that guests not wear shorts, flip flops, or athleisure wear for this occasion.
