We had a very Pride and Prejudice beginning: we were walking with mutual friends when they happened to see each other, struck up a conversation, and decided to introduce us since we hadn't met yet! In the beginning, neither of us wanted anything to do with each other, assuming the other to be some variation of pretentious and aloof, but had to at least put up with each other as we were in the same friend group for a while. That turned into mutual respect as we got to learn more about each other and share our thoughts and experiences, which turned into friendship, which turned into snarky banter that drove our friends crazy, which turned into awkward flirting...long story short, we ended up finding our dearest friend and love in each other, and it's been the most joyful adventure.
