Amanda was out to dinner with her friends Hunter & Bailey, when Derek called Hunter asking him to come to a friends house with him later that night. Amanda tagged along and met Derek!

Derek asked Amanda to be his girlfriend during a weekend stay at Whiskey Island, on the St. Lawrence River. That will forever be a day to remember!

We drove to Florida (and back) within two days together to move our friends Collin and Maddie into their new house. Nothing like testing the relationship early..

We got engaged! And were met with a surprise engagement party that night to celebrate the love.

Closed on our first property together, with lots of acreage and work for Derek :). We are still plugging away on making this our dream home, and property!
