FAQs

If you have any additional questions, please text Hannah at (423) 277-0370.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. This will allow time for you to park, walk or shuttle to the ceremony site, sign the guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour to enter. We want to minimize distractions on our big day so thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our guests dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire. Those guests who show up in white will be met with a water gun loaded with red wine.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to very limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, there will be a place to share their name when you RSVP. If you don't, please respect our wishes as we're trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your littles ones- however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of the children in our wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have an allergy, please text Hannah at (423) 277-0370 prior to July 14th so that we can work on accommodating you as best as possible.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking for everyone on site. The parking area is a short walk to the ceremony space so we are providing a shuttle service for those individuals needing assistance. Please arrive early if you plan on utilizing this service as there is limited shuttle space and we want everyone to arrive at the ceremony space in a timely manner. There will also be an area designated for ridesharing drop-off.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are currently working on arrangements. Stay tuned!

Question

Will the wedding be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will take place outdoors, weather permitting. The dinner will take place indoors in the air conditioning. In case of rain, the outdoor portions of the event will be moved indoors as well. Since portions of the day will require walking on grass and uneven surfaces, we recommend that the ladies wear block heels or wedges.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are currently working on reserving a hotel block. Please check back for updates!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Target and Amazon. Both registries can be accessed on their respective sites or through the "Registry" tab on this website!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you. We will be offering a variety of beer and wine, and one signature cocktail. We have waited a long time for this day so party accordingly!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones be turned off and put away during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate a well-meaning person's phone to block that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the professional ceremony photos as soon as we receive them!

Question

Is seating random?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating with the exception of close family. The first two rows on each side will be reserved for the bride and grooms parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. These chairs will have name tags to limit any confusion. Seating beyond this is available to the rest of our family and friends! The reception will be assigned seating. As cocktail hour wraps up, please direct your attention to the seating chart in order to find your name and table number. When you arrive at your table, your seat will have your name on it!

Question

I am a part of the bride or groom's family. Where do I go for family pictures?

Answer

When you arrive at your seat for the ceremony, please check your name card for a symbol. If your name card does have this symbol, then you will be needed for family pictures immediately following the ceremony. If your name card does not have this symbol, don't fret! There will be plenty of time for pictures with the bride and groom later in the evening. Please join the cocktail hour and have a drink on us! Once the ceremony is finished and the bride, groom, and wedding party have walked back up the aisle, our officiant will make an announcement for the designated family members to remain in the ceremony space for further direction. Our wonderful photographers will let you know where to meet us. We do ask that you please stay vigilant and quickly join us for pictures when your name is called so that we can all finish as soon as possible and join the party at cocktail hour!
